i have two daughters to whom i didnt raise to be racist nor am i dispite the efforts of my very racist dad who didnt even stick around to raise his four children but now wants to put his racist attitude and threats to disown me and my children for their having boyfriends outside their own race,and i have grandchild who is three mths old and he called him a n-word!

I have a best friend who is african american.We both think black and white shouldnt mix but its not because either is better then the other.we just think it wasnt meant to be..Do you see a bluebird mix with a red bird?a gray squirrell mix with a red squirrell?We were made to be different.I do feel sorry for your grandchildren though no child should be called names...They have his blood in them also.and yours too.Shame on him..All my children have married withing their race but if I had a mixed grandchild I certainly couldnt abuse them like that..They are better off without him.He was probably raised that way and he will never change.God Bless you all.

He sounds like he's set in his ways, and no matter the consequence he will never change. He doesn't sound like the type of person that needs to be around your children and grandkids. Do you want your grandchildren to be exposed to his harmful words as they get older and understand? Maybe it's best that you disown HIM.

You every notice the more we mix our races up, the more we start getting that tan middleeastern look? Strange, that's where we started and looks like there is where we'll end up. unless you have your geneology tree traced back to moses, you can't be racist without hating yourself. we all have great-great grandfathers that married outside our race, that's why a true racist will not seek their roots, they are afraid to find out they have alittle something different in them, sadly deep down, they already know it, that makes them even madder, it's sad unending road, they hate their great great grandfather for dirting up the bloodline, but have to love and be proud of his hertiage, it's a heads/tails life for them.
anyone remember the old star trac show that had one race half black and half white, the other race was half white and half black, the one had black on the right side of his face, the other had black on the left side of his face, interesting they had insight back then on such issues.

The thing with mixing race is, the child will not really fit in to either group. And, as we all know, there are many children out there that can be pretty cruel to other kids because they are "different" in some way or form. It is not the fault of the child that they are half-this, half-that. But a good percentage of their peer group, and others, will make concerted efforts to make them miserable.

That, and to me....some of the "bad" about mixing is when it is done for reasons other than true love of the other person. There are many that will "mix" outside their race for the sole reason of p*ssing someone off...usually parents or another family member. That is not a good reason to do that, seeing that babies are a natural "hazard" of sex.

When its from true love between both parties, well to me that seems different. Of course, their offspring will have a good deal of problems. But, at least the family unit was started from love, not from hate of someone.

I had lots of experience with this issue growing up. My mother's side of the family was racist and so was my dad's. Every holiday get-together for years, I and my three cousins listened to them telling racist jokes. At first, we laughed along with these relatives, but as we got older, we learned that this racism wasn't right.

I think God wanted to teach one side of the family a lesson. One of my cousins started dating black men and ended up married to one. They had two chidren together and moved out of town. Her brother found out only a few years ago that he had fathered a child by a mixed-race girl. And my oldest cousin on that side had relationships with black men as well. I was the only one out of us 4 grandchildren who didn't.

Needless to say, you can imagine the conflict this caused in the family. We didn't have Christmas get-togethers at my grandmother's because one of my uncles didn't want this cousin of mine coming. He couldn't forgive her for hooking up with this black man. So, this family of mine didn't get together from 2000 until the year 2005. We missed a lot of time knowing each other. As a result, my children do not know their cousins (who are all about the same age) very well at all. We hardly ever see each other.

My uncle died in February 2005. This was the first time that my mother's family had been together in years. This funeral brought a lot of people back together. Whatever unforgiveness there had been, healing began at that funeral home. My uncle and my cousin forgave each other. They had always been close before, and to see them forgiving each other was real inspiration to me. This uncle also realized after this that he needed his family -- his whole family. This cousin's dad, who was also racist most of his life, learned to truly love and accept his grandchildren and now they are his pride and joy. He does a lot of the child care for them.

My dad continues to be racist. I don't like him talking this way around my chidren, and he knows it. Usually, I try to get his mind on some other topic of discussion, and he'll forget about what he was ranting about.

My children have had a couple mixed-race friends in school, and I think it's great. They are just people, too. Good people.

I have taught my children reasons for marrying within their own race. It's not because I dislike other races, but because I really think that's what God intended, for the races to stay with their own color, in order to reproduce their race. I think each race is important and has a purpose.

My children wonder why there are so few adults with fair skin, blondish hair and blue eyes! Is our race disappearing?

Let me just take the time to say that first part is CRAP, and is usually a cop-out for being a responsible person/adult. I'm sorry but the Head must always rule the spirit of the person.

I strongly believe that children should honor their parents rules and wishes. Look at the problems it creates when they don't. What good comes out of families being torn apart. Right or wrong our families are the people that usually are there for us when all else falls apart.

i was born in jackson,mississippi,the racist capital!dad had 9 siblings and several kkk members in their family,all i ever heard growing up was slurs of hate for other races and political conflicts,i can remember far back as 1st grade feeling in my own heart the sadness i felt for the innocent people my own father would mistreat in my eyes for no reason,than their color,just being a bully is all i seen from him,well i took my own opinions and unless i am being mistreated ,i have no reason to mistreat anyone,i didnt push my children into other races,all my children are the same race as me,but if they have love for a person of another race because thats where their heart is,than they do,if god didnt accept other races,we would all be one race(his).

Provide any Bible verses where God is against interracial marriages. If you can not prove your point Biblical, then I have no other choice then to assume you have lied against God.

People choose to be racists because they don't have God. God knows our hearts and minds.
