It seems the team is in terrible shape. They are in need of new equipment and resources to enable them to play this year. We are asking that any donations to this program would be deeply appreciated. We will try to have a elimination dinner to raise money but nothing is written in stone. Please contact the athletic department at the high school to give your donations and please if you are asked to buy an elimination dinner ticket please do so because every penny counts.
Thanking you in advance.

Are they not already funded through our tax dollars? While watching the fair parade, I had a difficult time telling the difference between the Pop Warner team and the High School team. Maybe the players should take some self inititive, and purchase a gym membership on their own. Has anyone ever considered that? Maybe they should take a page out of Coach Michael's book, and in the summer, help someone in the hayfield as an "off season" workout and training, that does not violate any of the rules for high school football. See, there are many other ways to be creative, rather than placing the burden on the taxpayers. Another huge incentive for the team is "Winning games translates into CASH" for the program.

you know what sucks is all the money spent to send our children to a public school. money for books, computers all the extra stuff we have to pay for just to get them with enough equipment just to get them through the educational process. it is getting ridiculous. i am sure the football team needs equipment. and i am also sure that their are some kids that need educational tools that can not be purchased by some parents. the whole system is a mess.

i was affiliated with huskie football for 18 years ,and let me tell you we worked for all the money that was put back into the program. if you dont get out and work the money wont come in. we workd our but off doing chicken roasts, picking up garbage at 4 t arena and anything we could do to make a dollar and i defie anyone to say that any football coach including garry white to say he took a dime that was not spent on the team. he was and still is a number one person. you got to work to make money.

anyone know anything about the team that will be playing this year and not the garbage that the adults want to bicker about. I'm thinking about coming over for the opener next week if the weather is nice.

Come out and support the Dogs this year. We have a real good looking team. Lots of returning lettermen and a strong senior class. The coach is doing a great job in preparing this years team. There's nothing wrong with youth and enthusisum. We are going to win some games this year.Lets get out and start building the success and team that we know we can have.It takes us all Coach ,Players and Fans .

First of all, as far as winning goes, you can't make chicken salad out of chicken sh*t. The kids these days are wimpy and put the least amount of effort as possible into everything. Secondly, their poor attitudes are enabled by their parents; so why should they care? They will whine, mommy will buy new equipment, Daddy will go to BOE meetings to bit*h about the purchase.(Isn't that how this coach got the job anyway?) No games will be won and excuses will be made. By the way, what happens with all that admission money you pay at the gate?

1TigerLily is really a PussyWilly .The only bitching, whining, and complaining I see is you.We don,t want you or your kind or your bitching about the admission price and where the money goes. Stay home and watch "spong Bob Square Pants" its more your style. Save the admission price and buy a large Dairy Queen cone with extra sprinkles. PussyWilly

Spoken like a true armchair quarterback. I'd wager that Chaser never played a down of football in his life.

I'll be happy to make the accusation! It's a known fact by all those involved that Coach White left a grand total of $0.00 in the athletic fund. Furthermore, he took the lawnmower used to mow the field and the gator vehicle. He claims they were his.I wonder.

How did this coach get the job Tiger? I was at all the BOE meetings. I didn't see anything out of the norm. So, you tell us

i know for a facT THAT THE MOWER AND GATOR WERE HIS ... COACH SPENT THE MONEY THAT Was in the treasury to have the uniforms reconditioned. the new coach and boosters should have been out making money like we did for 18 years. we didnt beg peple to give us money we worked for it . we spent hours roasting chickens and anything else we could mmake a dime on. lets get to work new coaches and work for your money. you cant set on your a-- and expect people to give it to you. say all you want to about coach white but how mant times was he in the playoff and won a state champioship. those boys were not roy michaels because they were not in high school when he won the championship.better get your facts straight.please leave coach alone, hes a fine man.

Sara, if you was not begging for money what was you doing selling chickens sounds like to me you was begging people to buy them. My understanding is Mr. Tennant went and asked the coach for the gator back or further action was going to be taken and he gave it back. If White was such a great coach why does he have the worst loosing streak in history. Don't blame it all on the kids. Also, Sara are you going to be at the games supporting the new coach and trying to help him get things going in the right direction.

Instead of false acuusations and constant complaining, why don't you people come out to support the team for a change. Volunteer at the field, help with other money making ideas. Even better, just go to the games.

The Mower and Gator belong to Coach White and Daran applied for the job and got it.

Get a life people.
