I would like to wish the Huskies Softball team good luck this year. They have a talented group of girls and a great head coach. I am excited to watch them this year and see how far they can go. This is a new year and a fresh start, I hope they make the best of it. I will be there to cheer you on all the way. Girls do your best and enjoy the season.

I can't wait to see what the new coach does. Looks like he's already put the parents in their place which I'm sure means a few will quit that first week because they don't get their way. Nothing like a fresh now start!! Good luck ladies!! I'm excited for a new season!!

I love my parents to death but we will never be successful if someone can't shut the crowd up. I get so sick of hearing the parents (mine too) bitch everyday about something going on. I just want to have a good year. Hopefully the new coach can help.:-/. We can do this girls we just have to stay focused!

Oh I beg to differ. There is plenty of drama already. Stick to the game ump, bc you apparently aren't up to date off the field.

Haha you're right. The person who posted that previous comment is probably the one STARTING the drama and just trying to make it look like nothing is going on. When you come in and try to tell the new coach what to do, he probably doesn't take kindly to that!

So far everything is going great. The girls are happy and there seems to be no problems among teammates. Thank you to the returning players for being supportive to the younger girls.

AMEN!!! Keep him the hell away!! Even sitting in the stands is too close for him. I get sick of listening to his mouth and as a "coach" he doesn't know how to be professional about anything!
Good luck Coach Harker and the ladies!! I hope you have a great season and steer free of his drama! I wish you the best!!
I agree. Coach Harker does not need him or anything he has to offer.

Wondering why he hasn't taken the hint yet, that the majority do not want him there. Just the very few that he continues to keep calling, night after night, to stir this stuff up are still blind and can't see it, but we all know, they, too, will find him out, sooner or later, and feel the exact same way.

Why can't you people you this post as a positive thing for Coach Harker and the girls. Encourage the team and quit using this post as a way to bash people and trying to bring the program down. Grow up and act like adults for once and see how they do this year. This is a time for the girls and the team; it's not about who sits in the crowd!

Last time I checked respect had to be earned and certain people certainly have not earned any respect in anything they have done.
I also am for Coach Harker and every one of the girls on the team so how can you say Im bashing the program. I am also not talking about anyone who sits in the stands, so maybe you should read closer before you bash my comment. I simply stated I knew things were going well so far and hoped noone came in and ruined it, so unless you really know what you are talking about, maybe you shouldnt comment at all.

I hear the parents set things right at the last meeting. Way to stand up for what you want. It's about time someone stood up and said what they really feel.

Hmmm where did you get your information at?? What parents are you talking about?? Who did they set things right with?? What do they want??

I'm not sure why these parents feel they have a say in anything that goes on on the field. The kids are under the supervision of a new coach. He is going to have new ideas and new ways of doing things. HARKER is in charge, not the parents. Why the hell do you parents think you have any right to try and tell a coach what to do?? This is the whole problem with NMHS softball. Too many chiefs and not enough Indians. The coach is hired for a reason, so the parents need to keep their nose out of it. Encourage your child to do their best and respect their coach and not he disrespectful! This is why your kids act the way they do because they learn their ignorance from their parents...a bunch of freaking know-it-alls!!!! I hope Coach Harker sits all the girls on the bench who decide that what their parents say is more important than what he has to say. Last time I checked softball was a TEAM sport. Teach your children the essence of what TEAM means and then maybe they will have success. Stop the petty, pouty shit just because you didn't get your way and make this about the children for once!
