There isnt much talent there but there was enough talent the last 2 years for 2 playoff appearences but the talent was wasted and now the cupboard is bare
What a load of crap

Listen, that is such a young team, you have no idea! Most of those boys are only Sophomores. It's nobody's fault that there aren't more Seniors and Juuniors. You almost have to consider this year to be a learning year. They just aren't big boys yet. Be supportive of them, they need that. They're out there truly trying, they don't need this crap! Trust me, the talent really is there, just need to develop it and try more boys in some of those positions.

You are right it is a young team now but what was the excuse the last 2 years when it wasnt young and small but big and experienced and 8-12 was all the better they could do in those two years? There isnt anyone there who can develop that "talent" anyway. Is it nobody's fault there isnt more players in that "program"?? really?? One thing I do agree with you on they do try but I feel for them because they dont have a chance in that circus.

The boys are young, and yes they are talented, but when you have a coach who doesnt know how to successfully coach, it reflects poorly for these boys.

When the coach is on twitter after a game tweeting things like "Embarrassed upset heartbroken sad disappointed let down all wrapped up into one and then some I can't do this!" and "Can't sleep, not getting the job done and idk what I'm doing wrong" it is evident it is time to get out of Dodge.

Amen to wtg the coach is to worried about how he looks to care about the boys. The boys are a good group of kids they just need a coach who cares about them and not just hisself. Get out of Dodge coach so they can find one who cares

This is surely a young team of hard working young men. I agree that this season may be a learning season, but I think that this coaching staff is not equiped with the knowledge or the experience to teach the basics of football. I am not sure how hayes picked the rest of the staff, It must be the buddy system and not what they bring to the table in their ability to coach young men. At the end of the season it is the kids that lose out. As for the coaches twitter comments. My advice to him is grow up, take charge of that team, get some help in there that know how to teach the basics of football and build the program back to what it once was or Step Down. Remember its not about you and your buddies, it is about those young men.

His massive ego wont allow him to "get out of dodge" He thinks that his hands across the field march pregame, walking his dog out with the team, playoff clock(the one that gets turned off around week 5)and the pro-wrestling style fake tackling drills yet to see one in a game look like the warmup ones make him a really good coach.

They at least had one good year since Coach Michaels left. The did win a championship, but that was 15 years ago and it has been all downhill from there.

Everybody loves the coach when they are winning, huh? A coach is only as good as his players!!! If any of you think you can do better than Coach Hays then step up and become the coach.

When Coach Michael started losing everyone started to get rid of him too. It is YOU all that need to grow up not the coach.

And to come on here and talk about his dog bringing the players onto the field, really? There has ALWAYS been a real life Huskie dog on the sidelines. Its called a mascot.

In case you idiots didn't know the Huskies lost 16 players last year. So therefore, the team is young and are learning. They may not be winning but the players are learning and improving.

If any of you don't like his comments on Facebook or Twitter then stop following him. He is NOT talking down about any player, he is being hard on himself, disappointed in himself and hoping the kids will learn from their mistakes.

Like I said if any of you want the job then by all means go sign up for it and lets see what you can do with these boys. I bet you wont have a winning team either.

Winning isn't everything. The kids dont have heart in ANY thing they do and I blame the parents not the kids. And I dont just mean the football players. Its with all sports.

When was it again that Coach Michael lost he never had a losing season at nm as opposed to never having a winning season like our current coach.

It is not about learning the game, they need to get in the damn weight room and bulk up a little. They look like a damn Pop Warner team. Maybe they should go down to single A, so they can have a chance to win a game, now and then. As for the coach, he has no idea how to coach a game. He needs to stop acting gay. No wonder the team plays like they are wearing pink tutu's.

I attended North during Coach Michael's years and he did not WIN every game during his coaching term, that is what I meant in my above statement.

@ Felony, Coach Hays is not gay nor does he act gay. Do you think you can do a better job at coaching? If so then sign up for the job!

These boys were in the weight room, ran for miles before the season began. And sorry to inform you but these kids do need to learn the game. Seriously? Where do you come from? I guess if you think by putting these boys in the weight room and bulking them up will make them win then you would make a better coach than Coach Hays.

As for them dropping down to AA from AAA, this has nothing to do with football or any sports. it has to do with the number of kids enrolled at the school.

Coach Hays may not know everything about football but at least they are scoring unlike they did when Coach White was coaching.

Again I say to all you haters, if you think you can coach better and turn these kids into winners than sign up for the job. At least Coach Hays has the balls to continue and continues to believe in these kids year after year.
