Why should I feel guilty for you?
How can you affect me?
You are a separate person.
Independent of my own consciousness.
Flying freely in chaos.
Where are you going?
When will it end?
Nothingness feeds you, and drains me.
We both bask in it's glory.
No emotion.
No pain.
Only fear and panic.
Taking us to the brink of reality.
What makes you feel nothing?
Does it all turn off or was it never there?

Hello, all. I am a Country singer/songwriter from Pittsburgh, Pa. I hope to receive some feedback from some country fans what they think.

The song is about my father who died a year ago. I didn't get to see him before he died. Kind of a struggle between the inner self and the conscious mind. The title of this post are possible song titles.

Pulmonary embolism it is what killed my dad but it is a little too obvious I think.

Cable Guy (not man) because he reminded me of Jim Carrey in that movie. He was a raving lunatic. Is this reference lost on people though?

LS means "Live Strong". Makes me think of Lance Armstrong, but if I could release the LS LP that would be cool.

Of course I lean toward is DIE. Simple in its beauty.

Now you have a little insight into where I am coming from. Any suggestions will be appreciated. When I finally finish writing it I will post video of me playing if any are interested.

imho, it should probably be structured so that it rhymes once and a while,or break it up into a 12 bar blues progression. using phrases that you dont normally use during casual speech will be a burden on your listeners. after all , its country

Try humming. Have you ever listened to music? Maybe you should listen harder.
