would suggest not to go there for a haircut or to purchase any items. I was a customer of Ann's (the Owner) for 2 yrs. Well, I purchased a item from her & found out later that she over charged me $21.00. Therefore, I called her about it & of course she denied it. Therefore, I told her that me & my family will go elsewhere for now on & she hung up on me. Anyhow, she then called me back about 10 min.'s later & apoligized & said that she did remember telling my daughter when she was there that the item was only $89.00, well she charged me $110.00. I'm not sure as to why she called me back, because she didn't offer to reimburse me the difference. Now mind you, I've always tipped her about 40% & also would give her $25.00 in a card at X-MAS for appreciation of her service & this is what I get. Anyhow, now I can see why she has a high turnover with employees. She was told me what one of the employees was receiving in pay because the employee quit, due to Ann only gonna start paying by Commission. In my opinion, she shouldn't be discussing let alone telling customers what employees pay are. It's actually a long story it would take me along time to share all of the details. I do have my cancelled check with the purchased amt. & will be sharing with the IRS to see if she even reported this sale. She never gave me a receipt, just a piece of paper with the amt. on it & only put $108.00 not the actual amt. of $110.00, go figure.

I am sorry that you feel this way Tammy. As you know there are always two sides to every story. For one, I dont lie, and anyone that knows me, knows that I am very fair. I remembered why Heather said $89.00, they were on sale in July and thats when she asked about the flat iron. I am sorry that I cant keep a sale going for 2 months. Salons buy from an independant distributor and can charge up to 50% more than what they pay. Thats why you cant go into some stores that are for Cosmetologist only. You actually got a deal at $110.00. They go for 129.00 to 139.00 in retail stores. I offered to give you a gift certificate in the about of $110.00. You didnt want it. I do not give cash back. When you go into Walmart, Target, any of the stores these days, you get a gift card with the amount on it to be spent at the store. I did nothing wrong, but, give you a better price on a flat iron. Its sad that you have to attack a small business because you waited till the sale was off an item. Two, I have stylists calling and asking to work for me. I told you the truth when you asked where my other girl went. That was that she went from being paid by the hour to commission, and didnt think she could make it. It wasnt because she was unhappy with the salon. You should learn how to tell the truth and get your facts straight before you bash someone that doesnt deserve it. I believe in Karma...do you??

Yes I do, for starters you are a liar, because Heather had you order the flat iron in March & not in July, second of all you tried to say that my daughter was lying when she told me that you were gonna give it to her for $89.00. As for you not being able to keep a sale going on for 2 mths. anyways, if that's what you pd. for it & you think that your so fair, you wouldn't of tried to make a profit off of me, in which you did. That's a real nice thing to do to your customer. Also, for your information we looked up the flat iron from that company that you purchased it for & it was only $65.00, free shipping & handling. When I think back to when I asked to purchase it for Heather, you couldn't even give me a price...you said you had to call Becky to see. I don't understand you being the owner of your business & don't know what you pd. for it when purchased? Then Becky tells me she'd give me $10.00 off & turns around & charges me the whole $110.00. Heather doesn't lie & wouldn't have a reason to lie to me...of course I pd. a total of $138.00 plus tip, was busy talking & it didn't dawn on me until I got home that I pd. the whole $110.00. I called Becky & she tells me oh that was the tax, I said what percent do you charge & she told me she didn't know because the computer automatically rings it up. Anyhow, I let that go, knowing that it wasn't true, because tax is not 10%....once Heather told me that you were gonna give it to her for $89.00 & I called, Becky then insisted that the extra $10.00 was shipping & handling. I don't blame Becky because you own the company & she'll only ask for what you tell her to. Another thing, you call me up @ 5:30 P.M.(what a coincidence) & try to tell me that the sales guy just happened to stop in & told you that they were on sale in July....however, your wrong about Walmart & other stores, because you do get a full refund as long as you have a receipt...if no receipt then a gift card & don't try to tell me any different, because I always shop there & return items for full refunds. Anyhow, as for the employee that quit, your right you did tell me one of your girls quit, because you couldn't pay them by the hour anymore & they would have to work off of commission, but I was real puzzled when you opened up the payroll book & shared with me what the girl made one week at hourly rate compared to what she made on commission, because I remember sharing the amount with me in which it showed that she had actually made more that week from commission, then when she worked for an hourly rate. In any manner you call that professional? I'm sorry that you feel that I am bashing you, when in reality, I am just sharing my story & have the right to freedom of speech & will continue to do so. Maybe you shouldn't had ripped me off & you wouldn't have to worry about it. Also, you shouldn't have to worry about it anyways if you feel that your such an honest person. I just can't understand how losing our family as customers was worth the $21.00 that you overcharged me. Anyhow,I'm not sure what you are trying to say, Do I beleive in Karma? however, I hope that it's not a threat of any kind....because I am making a copy of these postings.
P.S. Take my advice, you should learn how to tell the truth & get your facts straight...one thing that I don't to is lie. Common sense tells a person for what other reason would I of gotton out of lying? your the one that lost us as customers for your own reasons of lying to try & make a profit. Oh, the reason if you've noticed that the last couple of times I came there in hopes that you weren't there & had your other girls cut my hair is because, not only did you butcher it, it was all uneven & the last time you waxed my eyebrows, you burnt my skin & I had to use antibiotic on the until they healed & scabbed over. No problems with Becky or Ashley cutting my hair, sorry.

In last entry...I stated that I pd. a total of $138.00 plus tip meaning for the haircut, waxing & flat iron.
Ann, whatever it is, it is...I will not respond to anymore of your comments, so don't waste your time posting anymore comments directed to me....matter of fact, I will not even be getting on this site anymore, I actually didn't know anything about this site, until I was introduced & told to post my story on here.

I'm a licensed hairstylist, but I'm not working in a salon currently. I've only been licensed since 2011 but I'm very neat and I make sure I get the job done right. I'm fairly cheap because I'm just starting out really. I won't charge for the first service. right now I'm only able to do cuts and styles as I don't have color products yet.
