Manlius resident Elizabeth Aliasso is fed up. The Saucy Swan, a restaurant owned by Aliasso and her husband, John, was recently warned to fix signage violations, which has led Aliasso to question the village planning board's consistency and fairness between local businesses versus corporations.

I am sure the owners of Saucy Swan have a case as Manlius seems to be awfully conservative. I have worked in the village for almost ten years at a local business, and teh oly thing that has changed about the town is a Dunkin Donuts was added. For a town the size on manlius, it seems quiet backward as far as any progress goes. The one grocery store they do have, the local P & C is most unpleasant to shop in. I think most residents would like to see some modern changes. the nex nearest town, Cazenovia, is much nicer.
