They are trained to view it as not IF an accident happens but WHEN and accident happens.
They are brave and have my respect.
The missing worker's family and friends and co-workers have a terrible situation to endure and need all the support possible.
You are right, they are far more brave than a fireman or a policeman. Hazardous duty pay would not be out of line.

O-MY Brave? Yes all 10 of them working around a hole as one brave body does the work.
Get a Grip MOM. They are not forced in to this work, they got offerd the job by the Club. Generations only get a cream puff jobs at MnDot, the privet sector people that do the same job have 1/2 of the safety equipment and 2 people can do the same job as 10 State MnDot workers. Brave, How Cheap you are!

Since you appear to consider yourself superior to people who work with a shovel I'll bet you can afford to make a large donation to the family. Just send it to MNDOT and they'll pass it along.

A man lost his life while doing his job. A family is grieving his loss.

And all people like YOU can think of to say are insults because this man happened to be a public worker. You have no decency whatsoever. It makes me wonder just how many people will mourn YOUR loss.

Not to go off topic, but "rocket surgery" is an amalgamation of "Rocket Science" and "Brain Surgery".... for those of you who aren't in the know.
