I'm glad to see more facts have finally been released for the public. Anyone else amazed that all the friends had witness statements that varied greatly as to what actually occurred? Thank God the motorist driving by the scene stopped and was a good witness as to what really happened. I hope Deputy Waldron can finally get on with his life again. Great job, Deputy!

Small town redneck fights with the cops...nothing new here. The deputy was in a difficult spot, he called for back-up 1st. Not much else he can do.

Conflict of interest...Bluh...They all work together. The feel they are just protecting one of their own. 96% of cases involving a complaint against a cop are thrown out. Unarmed...and when shot , hands were in a unprovoked submissive stance. The cops was in no clear danger at that point. To bad someone watching didn't have a gun, and drop this criminial shooting an unarmed person. Can you say cover up? Go to department of justice and you will see the true statics.

Judge not lest ye be judged. The deputy will have to live with the fact that he killed another person the rest of his life. His life as he knew it is over - he will have a lot of mental baggage from this unfortunate event. The victim should have cooperated with the officer; however young people think they are above the law and untouchable. The victim obviously thought he did not have to comply with a directive from the officer.

F**k the government and crooked cops we need to fight back. We need to take control of the government they lie cheat and steal and so what is the difference between a crook and the government. Cops need to realy follow the laws we do and be punished the same. Fight back and take control of what is supposed to be our government.

MURDER. He was wearing swimtrunks. No excuse, period. He could have tazed him, maced him, applied pressure points. But I suppose that's why these animals join the force, they are sado masochists who hope to legally shoot someone. Since they're above the law, nothing ever happens and they're always cleared of all wrongdoing. I'm more scared of getting pulled over then I am of walking down lake street in the middle of the night. These animals need to be put under control and held accountable for their barbaric acts of wanton violence. I'd rather be tried by 12 then carried by 6 personally.

Wow. Someone loses their life in a situation that could have easily been dealt with without the use of a gun and people are congratulating the officer... Wonder if it was your kid would you feel the same way? Officers are equipped with other, non-lethal equipment like tazers and mase. Looks like he never learned to fight and wasn't going to lose another one....

No matter what - this is so very sad for all. I believe the facts have finally been presented - and the grand jury declined to recommend charges - there was no cover-up - witnesses spoke and a jury of peers made the decision. Why would you people wish this to happen to someone else - so unnecessary - you can have empathy without going through the same situation.

HE IS A INVESTIGATOR... they DONT WEAR normal DEPUTY BELTS... he had his GUN and his BADGE attached to HIS BELT.... educate yourself before u reply. and yes someone did lose his life, but also Tyler was trying to TAKE this Investigator's life.... THIS officer is being congratulated for doing his JOB... unlike Tyler....

The young man fought the law, and the law won. Bottom line, the young man escalated the fight, not the officer. Why didn't anyone help the officer, before he was forced to defend himself? I'd like to think I would have jumped in and helped the officer had I been present. Everyone hates public servants until they need one or are helped by one...

This piece of shittt was out driving under the influence of booze and dope! He could have killed my family or yours. He got what he had coming. Had he hit and killed someone he would be the bad guy. Since it was a cop that killed him in self defense, now the cop is the bad guy. You can get fricked you dunce! Obey authority and obey the laws, and you might not be such an ashhole!

Looks simply like your boy got what was coming to him. He should not have tried to choke a man out. Meth and marijuana and alcohol kill. This is proof of it.
