Want a place to call my own. I used to have it all. Three br 2 bath with a two car garage. Now I'd settle for 3 bedrooms, one bath and maybe a carport. Hell, even a trailer, as long as my family can own it. Any suggestions?

Hell, even a trailer, as long as my family can own it. Any suggestions? First step in buying a home would be to go to annualcreditreport and get your free credit report . You can see if there are any things on your report u can have removed if needed . If you don't have any credit cards I would suggest getting an orchard bank card or a capital one "both cards are good for bad or no credit ". Now once you get your card don't ever charge more than 10% and pay it off every month . Maybe a tank of gas or something small . If u max out the card and keep a high balance your credit will SUCK !!! You will need a middle credit score around 640 to 660 I think ?? Now of course you will need to have a job and check stubs to show how much you make . The last two years of tax return too . There are loans like rural development that can get u in a home no money down . It sounds like alot but one step at a time and it's really not hard . I hope I helped some :)

Thank you Guest. I know all that. I guess my questions really should have been, does anyone have anything for sale. I'm constantly on the lookout for a good deal. At the same time, I want to be careful to never again find myself and my family in a situation where a significant loss of income leaves us with no home.
LOL: I am employed. My credit rating needs to come up about 30-40 points. After all we've been through, I'd say that's pretty good. Before you say it, we don't get any government assistance. Not that I would be above taking some. I've been working all my life. Much like you probably have.

Go to the web site ezmls Arkansas select what city you want to buy your home in . It has all the listings except the houses for sale by owner. It's really a good website . I personally think right now is a great time to buy because interest rates are so low . Hope this helps .
