Why is it that on this site, there can be a perfectly normal conversation, even a debate, and some feel the need to either, slander their neighbor, lie about topics, and get down right mean? It would seem that people are coming here to ask questions or inquire about Manhattan. Opinions should be welcome and respected. Rule #1. I think some dude named Jesus said it best, Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. these people are your neighbors. Now I"ll bet I have crossed this line once or twice myself. But at least I am trying to conduct myself as neighborly as possible. That being said, I will react if attacked. Honestly, we should act as if we are talking to each other at a table face to face. The anonymous factor causes people to act like asses.
When your only defense is spelling and grammar, just sit this one out. I think you are missing the point.
Am I the only one who feels this way? I hope not.

Actually about half of my posts on here are dated after the election. As this thread points out, this site has become ridiculous with the juvenile behavior of some. I even started a thread once that highlighted something good (8th Grade graduates and how we as Manhattan should be proud) and it turned into a complaint department. Because of that, I don't check this out as much as I used to. I post on here even less.

It's possible someone will personally attack me or this response. That is what happens on here, but with no guts to say it with your real name. So really what is the point?

It seems that when some people are hiding behind their computer monitors they feel safe and 'ballsy' enough to bash their fellow neighbors and our town.

Re: to "big deal"
My name is Jill Cirricione, and I do not come here to insult or slander any one. And I certainly have no fear of stating my name, and once again repeating how very sad and pathetic it is that adults come on here to play such childish games!

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Virgo

Someone is easily angered today, and you'll want to tiptoe around them at every opportunity. They might be on the defensive and imagine that you're getting at them all the time, or they could be quick to point the finger of blame straight at you. It won't be an easy day, but try not to get swept up in the emotional dramas that are swirling around you. They'll only exhaust you.
