Old Brookville: Newbies vie for mayor's, trustees seats

Voters in the Village of Old Brookville on Tuesday will be choosing from a pool of candidates with little or no political experience and similar views on how to address village issues.

Alas, another "thorough" "unbiased" story from Newsday. Where did you get your facts from Ms. Enriquez? Did you even make an effort to contact ALL parties for their input? So typical of Newsday and even more typical of the names above who you so gratuitously mentioned--You should be ashamed. It's PROPAGANDA not reporting. One can only hope Old Brookville residents can read between your ill prepared lines and the party that fed them to you.

Guess you got that story wrong Ms. Enriquez. Maybe you should go back and look into why there was a record turnout. And why 73 percent of Old Brookville citizens voted for a party you claimed were running with the same experience and platforms as it's opponent.

While you are answering that, why not ask why Mayor Whiting did not seek reelection?

Put those two points together and you have yourself a story.
