I applied for a dicount on my property taxes because i live off of ssi and my property tax doubled. i fax the application, but i do not get the feeling it will be read. i am 100% disable and have 3 children. i cant afford this. we are now in a recession, and you would think that some compasion would be necarssary. i am a lacombe resident and i live in a rural area with a mixture of trailers and houses. i live in a house, but i bet the ones in the trailer were exept. please we will be homeless if this continues.

Real estate values have been in decline for several years across the U.S. Hmmm. this only shows that assessed value and appraised value are two totally different things.
