To: Karen Arthur Lowther: Since my prior message, you have failed to respond by providing the requested documentation on Donald Caldwell Arthur: "hard copies of his law-degree, JD, his master's degree in genetics, MA, and his PhD in health care management, hard copies of his master's thesis in genetics and of his PhD thesis in health care management as well as hard-copy documentation of the accreditation of the institutions that issued those degrees." You have also failed to respond to my question, whether his denial, in his interview by the Chicago Tribune, of having received a Master's degree in genetics at Northeastern University, be accurate or not. You have failed to provide me the release I would need to obtain a copy of the Naval investigative file that he claims cleared him of all wrongdoing. What do you and he have to hide? Why do you not respond? I don't know who put "Jacksonville," under my name in the last message. That is wrong. It should be Gainesville, FL. Eric N. Grosch Gainesville, FL

VADM Arthur (Ret) and his supporters will have to answer to a "higher authority" sooner or later. It is indeed a shame that we live in a world where such things happen because of apathy and greed that has run amok. The systemic illness presented here may not be terminal but the signs and symptoms are alarming and in need of further assessment. Shame on any of you who participated in or supported this fraud upon the U.S. taxpayer and American people.

Well, it seems as though this is just another person filled with the greed we have now come to know as “the American Way”. Based on the documented research, Arthur seems to have lied about his past. Why would someone do this? Seemingly to move up the ladder, why else? By moving up the ladder, either legitimately or illegitimately, one does tend to earn more money and thus procure a larger pension. To turn our backs and ignore this is just a way of accepting it, thus, approving of it. It is not acceptable! Although Arthur is basically a small fish in a big pond, it really is important to address this situation. There are so many changes needed in our country today, here is a great place to start. If we can’t trust military personnel, who can we trust? Let us remember: A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. http://boards.webmd.com/webx... @@.89b166be!thdchild=.89b166be

Did you know??? Arthur claims membership in Alpha Omega Alpha, the most prestigious honor medical fraternity in the US. He was elected not as a student, but as an alumnus in 2002 when he still claimed the false degrees, i.e. JD, PhD and MA. I would bet that these diploma mill degrees helped get him elected to AOA under false pretenses. He was also recognized as a "Distinguished Alumnus" at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2005, while claiming the fake degrees once again. Check this link: http://www.umdnj.edu/acadweb/dist-alum.htm Here's an article from April 2008 where he is still listing the JD and PhD next to his name. DIDN'T HE LEARN HIS LESSON??? http://www.redorbit.com/news/display/...

Does anyone know if Arthur legitimately earned a combat action ribbon? Where did he participate in combat operations? I believe he wore the CAR for awhile, then quit wearing it, and it is not seen in his current official bio.

Have it on good authority that the Philadelphia Inquirer is about to publish a story on Arthur that will break things wide open.
Too bad he didn't have a real law degree. He may need it now!
Don, if you are reading this--you need to fess up and take your medicine. The retirement pay as an O-6 really isn't that bad.

As far as "distinguished" resumes built on fake "credentials," does anybody remember the M.L. "Larry - Arlington National Cemetery" Lawrence story.
(From about 1994 to his death in 1996, M. L. "Larry" Lawrence also served as the US Ambassador to Switzerland.)
Lawrence, and who was buried in Arlington National Cemetery in 1996 based on his "history" as a "great war hero," in reality never even served in the military, let alone having been a great war hero.
However about a year later, in other words in 1997, evidence that Lawrence had never even been in the military, let alone been a great war hero, finally became so overwhelming that not even his strongest and most vehement supporters could continue insisting that he had been a great war hero without looking stupid and ridiculous.(In 1997, and after the whole situation involving Lawrence in Arlington became too embarrassing, his widow and the Clinton White Houzse finally arranged to have his body removed from Arlington.)
Even back in the early 1950's it was already fairly common knowledge that Lawrence was a phony and a pathological liar, in other words more than forty years before he was nominated to be the US Ambassador to Switzerland. However in spite of all that, he still had no problem in getting the FBI, Justice Dept, US Senate, and Clinton White House to all agree that he was a honest and reputable person of great integrity, and therefore worthy of the national security clearance that was required to become an Ambassador.

On Tuesday, February 03, 2009, the Philadelphia Inquirer published a follow-up investigative report regarding the ongoing credentials fraud being committed by VADM Donald Caldwell Arthur BA, MA, MD, PhD, JD, MC, USN (retired). http://www.philly.com/philly/hp/news_update/3... The public’s commentary in response to the investigative report was overwhelmingly unfavorable towards VADM Arthur's professional misconduct. Unfortunately, the commentary about VADM Arthur was discontinued earlier today. Hopefully the editors of the Philadelphia Inquirer will reconsider their decision and re-establish the discussion thread.

Accountability is the first step in the path forward: HIGH PROFILE CREDENTIALS FRAUD - Politics & Health: Member Views & Discussion at WebMD HIGH PROFILE CREDENTIALS FRAUD Posted: Sep 17, 2009 1 day 22 hrs ago Replying to glennda: Why not pay back the money that is owed? Replying to Current_Therapeaut: Good question. The answer to the above questions requires concerned citizens to contact their United States Congressmen about this matter. The members of Congress and the Senate Armed Services Committee do have the authority to deal with this ongoing fraud and injustice. US CODE: Title 18,287. False, fictitious or fraudulent claims http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/html/uscode... US CODE: Title 18,289. False claims for pensions http://www4.law.cornell.edu/uscode/usc_sec_18... United States citizens can participate by requesting United States Congressmen to take appropriate actions against VADM Donald Caldwell Arthur BA, MA, MD, PhD, JD, MC, USN (retired) for the fraud he committed throughout his military career as documented by currently irrefutable material facts: http://www.chicagotribune.com/business/chi-su... '...As for the master's, which first appeared in his bio for his 1978 medical school yearbook, Arthur said, "I was in a master's program, but I did not graduate. I do not have a master's degree...' The above statement VADM Arthur made on the record clearly differs from information found on pages 6 and 11 of the documents that he repetitively submitted to the Senate Armed Services Committee: http://www.chicagotribune.com/media/acrobat/2... which clearly show VADM Donald Caldwell Arthur BA, MA, MD, PhD, JD, MC, USN (retired) submitted documents to the Senate Armed Services Committee for the purpose of promotions and permanent increases in his military retirement pension payments claiming he had legitimately earned a Master of Arts (MA) in Genetics from Northeastern University in 1973, a PhD in Healthcare Management from Century University in 1992, followed by a law degree (JD) from La Salle University in 1993. The Philadelphia Inquirer also published an investigative report about the 'honorable gentleman' VADM Arthur: http://www.pownetwork.org/pownet.secure/arthu... The whole case against VADM Arthur is also presented in a very organized format at the POWNETWORK website, which is devoted to exposing military fraud: http://www.pownetwork.org/phonies/phonies540.... or http://www.pownetwork.org/phonies/phonies1051... (Must scroll down to listing on Arthur, Donald Vice Admiral) The General Public's commentary generated following the investigative reports that appeared in the national media is also posted on this website.

The Ugly Truth

"There are two modes of establishing our reputation: to be praised by hones men, and to be abused by rogues. It is best, however, to secure the former, because it will invariably be accompanied by the latter..." -Charles Colton, 1832. There are at least two modes of destruction of one's reputation: to be exposed for the fraud one is by honest men and to be abused by rogues. Regrettably, the latter is far more effective than the former. VAdm Arthur is an remarkable example of both. He is a rogue who has unjustly abused others, even unto their total ruination, with malice aforethought. Unhappily for him, he now stands exposed by honest men for the fraud that he is and his reputation therefore richly deserves destruction, yet the vapid prestige of his former offices, fraudulently obtained, have somehow served as a bulwark of relative immunity against just and proper charges against him. the current public hue and cry against him, consisting of two articles, in two first-line newspapers, the Chicago Tribune and the Philadelphia Inquirer, both associated with blog comments supportive of the stories, in their majority, is so far ineffective, more's the pity. This is a sad commentary on the efficacy of public opinion to cleanse the commonweal. http://www.pownetwork.org/pownet.secure/arthu...
