If you have workers comp or other great insurance, you will be there forever- more like a nursing home. Unethical family
NRLCL has a behavioral program, an apartment program and individuals with full time jobs in the community who are living in their own apartments. Insurance companies, Workman's compensation included, do not pay for brain injury rehabilitation forever. They pay for rehabilitation and a transfer to a long term setting if needed. Due to the complexity of brain injury deficits, some individuals will never be able to live independently and may require assistance forever. However, facilities main goals are always discharging individuals to home and a supportive environment. Sadly, that future does not always exist because of complex family situations and the inability of families to provide support to their loved one.
