I'm sure Mike Smeltzer was only there to make sure that the streets of York were being "cleansed" of all of the illegalís that he hates so much. Beware of RADICALS like Mike Smeltzer!

Anyone wonder where was Todd Platts when it came time for the Tea Party and his chance to stand with more than one thousand (I counted the crowd) of the very people he represents? He either couldn't be bothered or he just didn't have the nerve. He was down at Central Market at the same time as the Tea Party with his Mom eating french fries. Yep, eating fries and taste testing fudge. How gutless is that? A block away and couldn't show his face? Frank, you. are exactly right, he is greasing that right hand for the next big hand shake from the President, welcome to the GAO.
hey u r mistaken. I was there too and saw congressman Platts. Even said "hello"

Umm... If I'm not mistaken, didn't the Congressman just get the President's signature as a going away gift for outgoing York CIty Mayor "Do Little" John Brenner?

If York City has a population of 40,000 and York County has a population of 424,000 (old census numbers but close enough) it doesn't really matter if it was 500 or 1,000. Either way, not a big percentage of the population was there.

If he somehow got the R nomination, he would be crucified in the general election just based on those comments alone.

I'm positive that most of the Yorkers who participated in the Tea Party Rally, have no idea what the Tea Party does, or stands for. The participants IQ's rarely exceed 50. The Tea Party founders probably have no idea what message they are trying to convey. They just want to hump Sarah Palin, and do coke with her on the down-low.

Yorkers racist roots run deep. It is one of the still thriving bastions of KKK, and white supremist activity havens available. If you live here, they are all around you. You may not hear them in public places, unless you have a white face with blue eyes. Take my word for it, they are here, and they are in the majority!
