Could have been handled better. So they say.

Classic case of transfer of guilt - blame the NYCRPD for doing their jobs. There is nothing in the rules of criminal procedure that would incorporate the "Santa Clause" like the Miranda warning which prohibits the service of warrants on Christmas Eve.

It is always fun until the final call.

when corporations rip people off, its business as usual. When people rip corporations off, they get jail time. When banks rob people, its the "American system". When people rob banks, it's jail time. Go figure,,,

"Taking somebody's money without permission is stealing, unless you work for the IRS; then it's taxation. Killing people en masse is homicidal mania, unless you work for the Army; then it's National Defense. Spying on your neighbors is invasion of privacy, unless you work for the FBI; then it's National Security. Running a whorehouse makes you a pimp and poisoning people makes you a murderer, unless you work for the CIA; then it's counter-intelligence." ~ Robert Anton Wilson

I wouldn't be surprised if more of this was going on in the company and they needed a fall guy. That's the conspiracy theorist in me.

Let's clap that the worthless regional pigs chose to wait until christmas eve to arrest this guy. How do you know he's guilty. This is the problem with the pigs. Some jerks at the company cry to the pigs someone has stolen from us. And these pigs wait until christmas eve to do this? I hope when he PROVES he did NOTHING wrong he sues the hell out of the company and the regional pigs.

Here we go again. Good ole john doe crawling out of his hole again. Well it is Christmas so he needs his restock of coal so he can go back and continue to bash everybody and everything. If you don't like it, by all means, LEAVE! I'm sure nobody would miss your lame remarks. You always have words of so called "wisdom" but yet no solution. Typical!

In the spirit of the season and your boundless compassion, why not invite the all of those just bailed out of central booking to your house for a Christmas gathering. If you are not home just leave the key under the mat, after all it should be after the holiday until they get arrested.

Its not like he's a flight risk. They have been investigating him for FIVE months. Again poor timing if he's guilty he's guilty however.

Just wait till they catch you for your crimes. Then we'll see who is laughing! Please John, get yourself some help...before it's too late. Really, turn yourself in to the "worthless pigs" that you fear so much. It's the right thing to do. You'll feel better.

You are absolutely correct. If he is guilty he will be guilty forever.

Ever hear of due process? This is what all persons who stand accused of a crime are afforded. What about those persons arrested for DUI should they be given a pass, judst because it is Christmas. What about other holidays, they too should then have a period of amnestiy attached. Your logic stands fatally flawed. This is what makes all citizens equal in the eyes of the law. Sounds to me like that was illustrated perfectly today.

The only poor timing was his poor timing in being arrested. This is the type of thinking that lowers the bar for any behavior to become acceptable.

Perhaps the greatest gift he was given this year was the gift of being able to focus on what is really important.
