I am disgusted. I know a 9th grader who was expelled from EYHS school for having a bag of grass clippings. His family was having problems and it was a cry for attention. It was called a look-alike drug and the student was punished the same as if it were real. He was thrown out and basically left to fend for himself for months with little or no real guidance or instruction. His record was not cleared. He didn't catch a break. It pretty lead him downhill to additional problems. That was a 14 year old juvenile who the EYSD administration threw the book at with no mercy at all. Now, we have an adult in a position of high authority who drives drunk while taking prescription drugs, and she gets a slap on the wrist (let's face it, that is what it is) and her record will be cleared. The child is not mine, so don't think this is his parent crying about a little angel. I know the family, and the harm done was irreparable. The EYSD had better make an example of Ms. Becker since the courts will not. If you don't, you are nothing but spineless hypocrites.

Sounds like a pretty cakey deal. Just think if she would have hit someone. And why can a person have their record expunged in a few months. Until we start taking drunk driving seriously how do we expect the yutes to take us seriously?

And I know a POTUS who received a humjob in the Ovary Office and his career was not ruined! He is still worshiped by many to this very day. Talk about a setting a good example! Why castigate one (1) administrator at EYSD for a process (ARD) that the vast MAJORITY of common citizens receive, who have had a stellar record (or not in some instances). OTHER teachers/administrators/police persons/judges/lawyers/chicken farmers/political figures (except the Kennedy's) receive such CONSIDERATION. The little angel you mentioned would have f ' ed up regardless of a bag of grass or a fingernail file. Yes, teachers are supposed to set a good example! So are the others, even ministers/priests who molest little girls/boys. Right after Easter, let us crucify HER! Amen! Did you hypocrites attend church this past Sunday...if so, then do what THE MAN tell us to do! Use the "bag of grass" and this DUI as a teaching tool, fool! What disgusts me is 'holier than thou' folks who can't see beyond their noses!

Bubba's humjob didn't put innocent people at risk. DUI is a mistake, it's a choice.

I think she should be held to the same standards that the lesser paid teachers in her school district, and be terminated from her job for the DUI. The money that they save from her salary can be used for the students of the school district!!!

There is a clause in her contract that allows the board to give her the boot. Time to exercise it.

Geez, never knew there were different standards for the lesser paid teachers as opposed to the higher paid teachers/administrators! What's that all about? What are they gonna' do with the extra money when they hire a replacement; patch the astro-turf? Some folks should simply "and Leave the Driving to Us"...remember that old bus transportation statement? Now go remove the fries before they burn!
