Deputies reported a search of the property revealed items used to manufacture methamphetamine in various locations on the property, and an active methamphetamine lab was discovered in a camper behind the residence.

Alfred J. Skaggs, 48, and John D. Preston, 35, of Manchester were arrested, with charges pending for illegal assembly or possession of chemicals to manufacture drugs, a second degree felony; possession of drugs, a fourth degree felony; illegal manufacture of drugs, a second degree felony; and a misdemeanor count of drug paraphernalia. The two are housed in the Adams County Jail. Both men were arraigned in Adams County Court with bond set at $75,000 each. Preliminary hearings in the cases are scheduled for Friday
