OMG...I didn't know that David had a son. I really liked David. He got mixed up with the wrong people, but he was a really good hearted guy. I've known him since he was about 12 years old and his death really hit me hard. How old is lil David now? Suzanne is screwed out of her mind all the time....but I think you should let your son know her daughters...It's not their faul what their mom does. I think he will eventually learn about them anyway, but I understand why you wouldn't want your son to know.

maybe suzann is strung out because of grief over her son give her a chance maybe getting to know her sons son would brighten things up and turn her around it would all most be like getting her son back give her supervised visits invite her to do something with you see what happens maybe just what she needs have you ever delt with the loss of a child dont ever wont to find out how i would deal with it probley drugs to think about it

Is a kind hearted person that I have always gotten along with. If you want to know her meet her for yourself and talk to her before you make your descisions from what gossip you hear on topix. Noone could imagine the pain she is dealing with unless you yourself lost a child. I'm sure nothing would make her happier than meeting this child.

I understand that but I also know David was involved in some not good things in his life and thats what I wanna protect my son from he knows nothing about his dad being in prison and the bad things he has done and i wanna keep it that way untill he is able to understand

how old is your son and yes protect him from knowing where his dad is tell the rest of the family the same story you told him about where his dad is and then think about what you did you sleep with somebody like that and made that child so i would hide that to

Why not just tell him the truth? If he finds out through someone else, then he going to wonder why you lied to him about his father. That way, if someone does tell him, he will already know the truth. I was kind of in the same situation you are. My childs father was also murdered, but I told her the truth and answered any questions she had. And sure enough, other people did mention him to her. So, I'm glad I told her the truth, even if it wasn't so rosey.

It's a ugly world out there and sometimes bad things happen to good people. We all learn from our Mistakes and hopfully pass that on to our children to help them from following our mistakes.
As a mother we always want to protect our children, but sooner or later, the truth will come out, and it's better they hear it from you when their at a approiate age, it's better that you awnser their questions and exsplain it to them rather then them hearing lies and gossip. Unless you can afford to just pick up and leave this god forsaken town and never look back then you have to deal with the truth and the child's family. Life is to short to not have family around no matter what they have done or who they are let you be the judge of how they treat you and your child. Then after you meet follow your gut, you will know for yourself.

I do plan to tell him the truth he just isnt old enough yet

The girls would be great for your son to know. They are good kids and cant help how their mother is. The oldest one is 18 and got her own place so you wouldnt even have to mess with their mother. The other daughter is 16 and almost grown. David is not Suzanne's son he was her brother. So she doesnt know what its like to lose a child she knows how it is to loose a brother. David's mom is a kind woman and would love to know her grandson. You can protect your son and still allow him to see some of his family. Hope everything works out and the girls get to meet their cousin.
