Glad that everyone is recovering and that all are ok. The family is in my thoughts and prayers. Speedy recovery to all involved.

There was a 1yr old and 1month old in the car..it could have been a pacifier, bottle, toy, blanket. Not saying it's best/right thing to do but who can honestly say they have never ever done it?

I saw a picture of the crash scene in the Sunday paper. The cop car looks like the one driven by Officer Heffner.

So easy to cast stones...
I find it hard to believe that there isn't a driver on the road that hasn't had a near miss and thought "oh thank god"...
I'm sure she won't make that mistake again....perhaps we could all just back off and be hopeful that everything works out ok.

This could have been so much worse than it was. I hope the baby makes a complete recovery. People please be careful behind the wheel and keep your speed down....especially when carrying such precious cargo as children.

Come on now, there is a big difference between a "near miss" and losing control of your vehicle, going up an embankment, hitting a guardrail! The poor baby suffered head trauma, yes could have been much worse. She needs to be cited for reckless driving! She's lucky she didn't hit another driver.

I find it difficult to read the comments of those who are more concerned with being judgmental than supportive. She reached for a bottle for a crying baby. Speed was not at all a factor. She was well aware of her precious cargo...believe me. For those who choose to judge, put yourself in her situation as well as the situation of the rest of the family and close friends. Would you want others being critical of a mistake that anyone could have made when you have an infant daughter or family member recovering in the hospital? I'd imagine you'd want the prayers and support of others. Thank you to those of you who have a conscious heart and are caring. All three of them were very lucky. Your support is appreciated.

Ok look here I am the father of the two babies and the boyfriend to the one drivinv I was following right behind her and yes it was rough watching wat had happen but she does not deserve to be critisized by the likes of anyone. Yes she messed up but its not her fault id like to know if u had a screaming child in ur car what would u do just let them scream or try to calm them down and make um feel better? I think its a tad bit bull*hit that u ppl could say negative things about her. I'm just thankful to those of u that put my children in ur prays and will be forever thankful for it. I love you sarah everything with get better soon.

I am also tired of people posting, placing blame instead of realizing mistakes happen. I'm sure the mother feels awlful and is thanking God it wasn't a lot worse. Hope everyone will learn something from this, especially the ones who think they know everything!

A word of advice.
If your name is ever in the Evening Sun, for anything, DO NOT read these anonymous forums. Hanover is full of .... words can't even describe some of the local population.
Hope all will be ok with those involved. Be more careful. That goes for those posting comments also.

I am so very glad everyone is okay... Sarah they call it an accident for a reason, it wasn't suppose to happen it just did, you can't change all you can do is thank god and move on. Pay no mind to those who judge it must be hard for them to be so perfect in an un-perfect world. We are so glad you are okay and that my dear is all that really matters. Chin up and kiss those babies.

No one knows what she was reaching for. And like this person said. There were babies in the car! I'm willing to BET it wasn't anything stupid that she was doing. I don't know her THAT well, but I know her well enough to know she'd NEVER put her kids in danger! EVER! Anyone that thinks otherwise should just go to hell! Honestly. How do you expect her to be able to fully recover and help her children fully recover if she feels like everyone's blaming her for this accident!? If she can't heal emotionally, how's she supposed to help her babies heal physically. You people need to grow up and realize that it's not her fault and it could've happened to ANYONE!

To all who are posting such rude, judgmental, and mainly cruel comments; you need to stop. I, being apart of the family is very outraged by the things you all are writing. We were all very upset, but instead of pointing fingers, and arguing about how it happened and how stupid it may have been, we were more focused towards each and everyone of their safety. Such a thing like this is devastating, especially to our family who is going through a very stressful, and rough time. Stop saying how stupid the accident was. Accidents happen all the time, and were so thankful that Paisley is fine. Start thinking about others and their feelings before you say something. You all are pathetic if you keep blaming the driver for reaching over to get a bottle to calm her son.

It was an ACCIDENT! I'm guessing you've never had family who have had such a close encounter to what could have been far worse. Were all very Thankful it didn't turn out any worse. Please think about the mothers feelings as shes very upset, and quit writing such harsh comments, shes suffered enough now back off.

I am sorry for Sarah and the babies. Accidents happen that is why they are called accidents. I hope the baby girl makes a complete recovery. I am sure a lot of people have done stuff they later wish they haven't done. Sarah is probably beating herself up enough without everyone on here doing it for her. Take care Sarah and family.

I agree... don't read these posts!!! Too many people are hurtful and cruel.
Just pray for healing and take care of the babies and God will take care of the rest.

I third that. Family members and friends should stop readin gthis. There's no reason for you to try to defend her to people who don't know you. To be honest with you, the comments on this particular forum (unless some have been deleted) really aren't as bad as most in a situation like this.

Thankfully everyone is recovering and hopefully that continues. If I were family, log off now. Focus on the blessings you've received, not what people who don't know you are assuming.
