The local elected officials who vote to have MTA service in Carroll County should begin looking for other employment. If Carroll County wanted the MTA service along with the crime and drugs it would bring, we would have asked for it. Hunt Valley and Owings Mills are infested with drug dealers and homeless selling items on the train, where are the police we were promised.

oh chris, growth cities (small towns becoming medium size cities) didn't happen because of flight. they happened as a natural result of technology and capitalism. it may make it's direction back to a larger cities again but, not for a while. it's sickening to think some people are amazingly backwards and ignorant of the times. again, you go waste your time in baltimore while the rest of us capitalists cash in.
First of all, why are you even posting about Baltimore if you're in Pennsylvania? Do you just enjoy being racist and arguing, or do you have a horse in this race?

Second, what fantasy world do you live in? Suburban Sprawl is obviously the result of White Flight. Carroll County used to consist of farms, and now it's mostly subdivisions. Do you really think that everyone who lives in Carroll today is a direct descendant of some overly amorous ex-farmers?

Give me a break.

no chris, i won't give you a break. i will never bow down to a leftist spread the wealth socialist non-capitalist. i've gone and will continue to go to fisticuffs if that's what the lefties want over these issues. you people have been trying to pull the wool over everyones eyes for decades and people like me aren't going to let it happen. and there are alot of people like me. and even if you're right about white flight, which you're not, it's still none of your business. you people think that everything a person does for whatever reason is everyones business. it's not. i'm tired of you people and your bruised egos. everyone gets bruised in life but, you leftists think it's always a constitutional issue. liberalism is mental illness. so why don't you shut your mouth jerkoff.

Anyone who wants to know what will happen to Carroll Co if the MTA comes here can go to the tab at the top of this page and change their city to the zip of 21222. When you get there look up the topic Dundalk stinks with drug users. Read the problems they are having and see what can happen to an area affected by the MTA...

Could someone please explain why all of you people are writing from Pennsylvania, yet claim to speak for Carroll County, and Maryland?

I wouldn't put any money into Carroll county roads until they accept the buses. Not one dime!
If we get the buses, you will need to give us more money for a bigger jail!!!! When 795 was built, every Tom, Dick and Harry came up here to commit their crimes. Our jail tripled!!! " GOT MONEY!!!"

We used to live in a very nice neighborhood near the bus line (2 blocks off of a main road) near Catonsville, MD. We lived there 15 years...until we could no longer take the crime. Our home was broken into once, car was stolen once, my husband's van was broken into 3 times, and we had 4 bikes stolen. No one can convince me that we need any form of mass transit in Carroll County!!!!!
