This is a very good likeness of the old photos I have seen. Very nice. I assume you hand painted this in acrylic on ceramic tiles. Faux is correct on the location.

nope , wasn't hand painted...and thanks for the comment... i put alot of work and $ in creating that...it can be yours...lol
actually i can put any pic you can think of on the tiles, ranging from a famous piece of art to a personal photo (wedding photo etc...) i have more work done for my own personal use... people are welcome to see them ... my tiles could be used as a kitchen backsplash, or installed in a shower stall . just use your imagination...

I just posted a poor quality early photo of the Hotel.(The square was dirt at the time) Just curious, what it the largest mural you could create? I would guess as large as you can make the photo you are duplicating? Also, I would say $300 is a fair price for this piece. What would a 6"x6"?

Actually Danny , i can make a mural whatever the size you want . if you wanted a mural 8 ft x8ft or larger , that would be no problem. my photo enlargement software works miracles...lol you said 6x6, are you meaning 6 inches x 6 inches or 6feet x 6feet??? and i don't think you finished what you were typing. let me know ps, my next mural might be a UK wildcat with the raised claw and UK across the chest ... it will be 5feet x 5feet square and will consist of 100 6x6 tiles....if the guy can come up with my fee...lol

I was actually thinking 6 inches by 6 inches. I'd guess about $15 per square based upon your price for the Old Webb Hotel. About $1500 for the 100 square piece. I'm actually visualizing some business applications here, large somewhat protected exterior murals like in vestibules and walkways etc. Just thinking out loud here!

actually i could go about $10 per tile finished... the frame was what was soooo expensive on the old webb one.. i have $100 in the frame alone from Mullins gallery in london... and the tiles i use are top of the line tiles around $4 each not counting the shipping for them and all my time invested.. bla bla bla ... so i think 10 each is fair . just look what you have ...a 1 of a kind thing that would definitly make you pass up the Jones's instead of keeping up with them so to speak ....lol .
and yea i could send you pictures of things that would blow your mind on how cool these look in shower stalls and countertop back splashes...

Hi, my process i do isnt a paint , it will never peel for it becomes part of the tile permantly. would probably fade a bit outside over a period of many many years like 10 or more. but inside, it would last a lifetime ....if you are interested in something email me a picture and i will do a mock up and let you see how it would look as a mural. my website isnt completed yet or i could give you the link for that to see more samples of my work... but if you want to send me your email address i can send you lots of my work to give you an idea of the many many applications i can create ... contact me at : wayne_taylor1829 AT yahoo.com ...thanks
