Their point was cruelty is cruelty. You can shine it up all you want and make it sound real nice, but it still is cruelty. Yea they have a history of Gambling and drinking, thats all these events are good for. Pretend its not but we all know it is. There would not be that many people at them if this were not the case. You can't make it right no matter how hard you try to pretend.

its no more abuse then going to lees fa,ous reciepe or kentucky fried chicken and ordering a bucket full of murdered dead chickens that was beheaded so you could put it in your mouth or ripping the babies from the limbs of a defenceless tomato or watermelon plant that has no way of protecting its young from your slobbering fangs

i'm not trying to stir anything up, I to have strong feelings about certain subjects when it comes to animals in particular. BUT, i would like to say my own opinion. I believe before you point fingers at someone for animal cruelty, go visit a rooster fighters farm. These roosters are NOT your FARM chickens. It doesn't matter where they are, if "game" roosters are not kept seperated, they will seek each other out and fight, not just fight but fight to kill. It is nothing the breeder of these chickens do to them to make them this way. That is the nature of the chickens. it is a "born instinct" that cannot be encouraged or discouraged by anyone. And if you would ever visit a GOOD fighter, you would find they care about there animals. the animals are treated very well. As tame as a lap dog, these animals like human attention, they love being petted. And again, vitit a GOOD fighters farm and you will not find better treated and cared for animals, the best food, shelter and medical care. They have a respect for the animals. Being a deep animal lover myself, it was hard for me to believe untill I opened my mind, took time to learn about the birds, and really listened to the fighters. So if it bothers you, I urge you to do the same as I did. Educate yourself about the sport. Don't just pass judgment on people. And for the people saying its against the law, check your ILLEGAL to fight game fowel. It's illegal to GAMBEL at the events. That's where people get the confusion.

<quoted text>
If they didn't hatch 500 at a time out in the incubators then there would not be so many to run into each other and fight. They bring this fowl into the world for the purpose of fighting and that is wrong. This is not the work of nature but the work of mans greed to make money on the cruelty of yet another living thing. Blood money plain and simple. There is not anything natural about having 500 roosters tied up by the leg behind the shed, trailer or house.
