Richie already played. Now its time for him to pay. Just like he should. Crooked politicians are nothing but leaches on society. They should have everything they own seized and sold out from under them.

Disappointed, disgusted, and angry. That just about covers it, I think.

I think he is just like the majority of politicians .... just not as sneaking and slick as some.

pope the man robbed the taxpayers of ky. His sentence is fully justified.
Just think of what doors of opportunity would have been opened for him if he was our Lt. Governor.
I also wonder how his running mate, David Williams feels about him now.
He is a judge dispensing justice and has the stigma of Richies misdeeds hanging around his neck like an albatross. Makes me wonder how his true life story would read.

That "unforgettable" will be TOP DOG in Clay county in the near furture. After he does his time, he will have paid his dues. The people will forgive and forget and put him in any office that he desires. Just you wait and see.

I agree. Back in the 80's, a staff member (Mary Brown, related to governor John Y. Brown) at Blackburn Correctional in Lexington was using inmates and state's goods and equipment to promote her religious activities. A federal lawsuit was filed in Lexington and dismissed without anything happening to her her--except she missed a few days work scouting for an attorney.
Why make an example out of Richie when others (Democrats) have had impunity?
