There is a huge Toyota supplier in negotiations to build an enormous factory in Manchester. During the startup phase, approximately 1200 jobs will be created. After full production stars, an additional 800 jobs will be added. Wages will begin at $21 per hour going up to $36 per hour depending on education and experience. Of course, drug testing will be a prerequisite for employment so it is likely that most of these jobs will be filled by those outside the county.

Is this facts or just another BS post? There is many people I know could pass a drug screen, and make a decent amount of money close to home

Lies, lies, lies! There is not a company pending location here. Even if there was, there is not enough work ethical employees in Clay County! And those that do apply, the majority could not and would not pass a drug/tox test! Most of the population in this area is uneducated! Absolutely, the positions would be filled by out of county workers. They would have to be.
But as we know, this is all but a dream!!

We have plenty of eligiable workers able to pass a drug test and seeking jobs. Hundreds drive out of this county to work each week. Every county has a drug problem ....just watch your local news!

I would be willing to work and I CAN pass a drug test. Come on jobs, we would have a better community if we had jobs.

But just think....if this was true....Laurel and Knox county would have major issues replacing all the Clay workers that quit and went to work there....funny how that roughly 50% of workers in those counties are from Clay....something to ponder

I have lived here for over 8 years now and I can pass a drug screen. The problem is that all of the employers here only hire friends and family. The problem with that is that most of them are sorrier than shit and do there job half ass. I have put a app. in at every place in Manchester and have not even been called in for a interview just because I am not from here.

I think they would pick London or Corbin because of the interstate and I don't think they would pay that good
