I tried to purchase christmas toys at walmart last week and was informed my 100 dollar bill was fake. I had no idea! They didnt arrest me, but they did refuse to give it back! They should at least give you a legit bill if you didnt make it, christmas is going to be light this year.

This should be nominated for hillbilly post of the year! Let's take a closer look, shall we?

They should give you a legit bill? So they should take a bill worth $0 dollars and give you one worth $100 dollars? That is one hell of an investment strategy.

Where did you get said fake bill? The $100 bill did not come from a bank, if it was fake. Where else would you get $100 bills. If you got them from anywhere else, without going to the bank, then you are clearly a dumb ass hillbilly. If you don't have a bank account, then you are definitely a dumb ass hillbilly.

Buy a money marker and use it! Use it every time you get change back from anywhere. Especially $20's. Get your checks cashed at the bank and not walmart. Many places got fake 20's last week, including a school. Be very careful and check your money with a money marker before you walk out of the store.

Lol you simplistic and beautifully modest hillbillies.

I am glad that some of you in that backwards state will get to see a $20 bill , even if it is fake.

May Sarah Palin bless you all.

I purchased a money gram at wal-mart in London, they marked all of my bills. Everything was fine, nothing said that day. three months later I receive a phone call about two of those hundred dollar bills being fake. Now my question is, why did wal-mart not tell me that day? I had also gone to the bank prior to getting this money gram, and with drew the money from the bank, and cashed a check. I have no clue as to how they turned two hundred dollars into fake money. The money gram was for a payment and that is the only way they would except payment, and it had to be made that day. The place kept calling me and saying I lacked two hundred dollars and I kept arguing with them, but they never once told me to go back to where I got the money gram at, eventually I gave up and sent them two more hundred dollars. I am not complaining about that, but wal-mart should have said something on the day that I purchased this money gram, or have contacted me, not turned it over to another agency and three months later I am getting a call telling me that two hundred dollars of that money was fake. I am puzzled and wondering. Did someone at wal-mart make two hundred bucks off of me? I don't know what happened! Has anyone else have this happen to them? Don't know what to do now!

I never got charged with a crime, but the FBI did call me. I told them I had gone to the bank and cashed a check and with drew some money from my Bank account. When they called it took me by surprise and I never thought to tell them, that wal-mart had marked all of my money, and I was free to go. It don't seem right after I am gone that they can say I had two counterfeit bills. I know that I have been scammed by someone at their store. It just the fact they would never believe this after a few months has gone by. I don't know how to contact the man that called me, his number is no longer on my caller ID, but I definitely would like to talk to him again.
