Not the same company as David Bennett's Global Green Holdings LLC. You've got your companies mixed up.

Same name, but not the same company. Do some research and read the information on the company above and stop commenting on things you know nothing about.

One company Global Green Holdings LLC is entirely private and an LLC (Look it up if you don't know), and is the dummy umbrella company for all of David Bennett's scams. The other company, Global Green Holdings, Limited, is a pink sheet company that changed its name to EcoGlobal Holdings, probably so ignorant folk like you would jump to conclusions and think it was the same company as Bennett's scam.

The only thing that these two companies have in common is that they are both probably created to separate folks like you - who don't know any better and refuse to do their own research - from their money.

It's all about the city being sued for $500,000 for non-payment of equipment rental costs and land work done for the WNT project.

Big deal, it was already written off by the company and they'll probably settle for half. The windfall of coal severance money the city received will easily take care of it.

These news people always have to have something sensational to talk about.

The construction company that did the work was destroyed by this scam (bankrupt). The owners were financially wiped out on a personal level as well. Hundreds of thousands of dollars lost by equipment and fuel vendors as well as engineering contractors. When the big wigs fell for the scam the various vendors assumed the deal was legit. I guess they assumed that our local political leaders wouldn't go this far if there was any question as to the validity of the program. Other people quickly learned from the internet that WNT had a long record of fraud. All that WNT info only key clicks away but our leaders jumped in with both feet and our money without even doing a little basic research which would have quickly revealed the scam. When WNT cleverly incorporated GOD into the scam that sealed the deal and garnered the full backing of our local religious leaders. Not one aspect of the WNT scam made any business sense at all; everything about the proposal smelled fishy. When our local leaders were informed by several business people that WNT was a complete sham no one listened. Didn't want to hear the truth because the alternative was too appealing and alluring. Drawn like a moth to a flame these ego drunken fools fell in head first with the city's money and weren't even smart enough to realize it was all a farce even after it became apparent to the citizens who in the beginning were part of the faithful followers of WNT. So the story goes.....

By the way, did anyone else think it was rediculous to spend more that $40 Million to make Y hollow into a pasture? How much pasture land or corn fields could you buy for $40 Million. Don't you think even $1 Million would buy more than enough flat land? But maybe WNT needed an ongoing project to allow them plenty of time to lure unsuspecting investors.
If the WNT venture was for real how many years of potential profits would be needed to pay the $40 Million for land preparation. Would you spend $40 Million to turn a hollow into a pasture when you could buy all the flat land you would need for much less than $1 Million? Makes no sense to anyone. A garbage processing facilty handling thousands of tons of garbage a day in the city limits only hundreds of yards from residencies? Does that make sense? These types of facilities are located miles from populated areas. None of it ever made any sense !

WNT was not as bad for Manchester as some say. When Manchester bought the Y holler there was more than half million dollars of railroad there which was sold for cash money. Previous owners had been offered this for the railroad materal. So Manchester got half the cost of the land up front. I know this for fact because the rail and ties and all the other railroad stuff was there when it sold and later a company come and took it up. Saw them there. Now city has 1/2 million dollars and still owns the land. Previous owners had turn down big money for all that railroad stuff. That stuff is re used to build and fix new railroads. I hear city sold some timber too so not so bad deal.

WOW!. This topic is still going eh?. After WNT failed to respond to any of the requests Laurens County Council (SC) made, I figured these cats had already disbanded, been sued, blued, and tatooed by the Feds...

Our county in mid-upstate SC didn't fall for these guys BUT we've been had by Dunkin Donuts, a bio-diesel startup, and a titanium manufactor.

Interstate Coal operated there for many years. It was dirty and noisy with coal trucks and trains, heavy machinery and processing equipment running 24 hours a day. People survived and took everything in stride because they knew it meant good paying, secure jobs and money coming into the local economy. You go where the money is, and if Stivers is sending the money to Manchester, then you go to Manchester. From that perspective, I just don't agree with your argument.

"Well" No one spends $40 Million to make a few acres of flat land. You don't put garbage dumps inside a city especially one that is receiving thousands of tons of garbage per day from surrounding cities, counties and states. WNT indicated they would need hundreds of truckloads of garbage per day requiring a new bridge to carry the traffic. You don't put a facility like that in a city. The Clay County Fiscal Court researched it and found it could not be licensed for operation that close to residencies. They also were informed that a facility handling that much garbage would need to be two miles or more from residential areas due to the stench and scavenging animals. The whole WNT fiasco was never real, never; nothing but a scam from the beginning. Anyone who ever believed it has absolutely no common or business sense. And by the way, the Clay County Fiscal Court under the supervision of Judge Sizemore thoroughly researched the WNT proposal and found out early that it was a SCAM and passed that information to our city officials who chose to completely disregard the Court's findings. Did you notice that Fiscal Court members were not at the phoney WNT groundbreaking? My point is that the WNT project was never real; just a SCAM from the beginning. If you looked at the proposal and the numbers and ever believed it, you are not smart.

Crawdad did find out that waste not tech was a money scam. he also told me that dump couldn't be in city because of disease from scavengers. All this was told to city council people by fiscal court but did not listen I guess they should listened

Not all members of the City Council went along with the former Mayor. Look at the picture if you have a copy of the WNT groundbreaking to see the select Council members that was there. Former Mayor Lewis was the main local charcter in this twisted story. More than one Council members tried to show her the proof that this was a scam.

Also, Crawdad and two fiscal court members contacted official in Rockcastle county Kentucky where Waste Not Tech had offered them same deal. Rockcastle people check it out and find that it is not for real. Those Rockcastle county officials tell Crawdad and the magicstrates that WNT was a scam and Mr. Bennett left Rochcastle county owing $25,000.00 for engineer costs. Crawdad and other members of court told Manchester city officials about this but it was ignored. Looks like everbody know that WNT was a scam but Manchester city officials. We have smart politicians in Manchester

Yes, Rockcastle County, a small town in New Mexico, a small town in Kansas, a small town in South Carolina, a small town in Michigan and numerous other towns and cities across the country had already been offered the same foolish scam and only Manchester, KY fell for it completely. Our city officials, clergy and some citizens fell for this totally BS story from Mr. Bennett. Absolutely no research before spending almost $1 Million in tax payer's money. How stupid can you get? Go figure !
