In my familey we had to eat what we shot. my father once made my brother eat a ground squirel he shot because he got bored while hunting. the goverment released turkey ,deer, moose, the larger animal get week and sick, all is abundant food source for wolf and coyote,so coyote is not preying on farm animals, and are not in compatition with humans,so what is the excuse to hunt them into extinsion other than because i can.I really respect the fox, wolf, coyote, bear.and even other forest dwelers.like squirrel, rabbit, ground hog.but under stand hunting for food, never will i understand it for sport .especially night with lights shotguns.nothing redneck or mucho about that. please show some pride do not protisapate at night.

Hunting is a necessary game management tool...no doubt about it. The hunter that gives the sport a bad name is the hunter who enjoys killing -- period. They're easy to spot. They complain loudly and are irritated and "sullen" if they go hunting but don't KILL. To them, it's entirely about KILLING. Their underlying issue is insecurity. Killing makes them feel "dominant." This is also why some people enjoy watching another person suffer. It makes them feel "dominant."

They came in here and took over. Rabbit population is gone. The turkeys are getting scarce. The deer are dissappearing, along with 2 cats and a small dog from here. Maybe someone will bring some Elk and deer in here for them to multiply on for a year or so, then they can go back to killing cats and dogs, cause thats all thats left.

Oh, not to mention they stripped a sweet corn patch here. Didnt know peoples crops and pets were supposed to count as thier "abundant" food sources.

I dont have any sources to bearafy but in northeren clay co the turkey are every ware by flocks numbering 30+ in my field. deer are so plenty full some poachers are day shooting two a day, and being home bye noon. freezer sales are up. I know coyotes are blamed for every thing from. stolen clothes on clothes lines to cats, dogs left running loose . Ihave couple game cameras around border fields never seen coyote or wolf ,but packs of dogs all breads 10-12 chasing deer ,rabbit, etc.some have collars that look imbetted in there necks, must be painfull.fox pen must need fence repair ,many red and grey fox pictures.moving in groups of three-four, most mom and pups .But aot one coyote.
