I've heard the price of gold is pretty high now, even for old/scrap gold. Can anyone tell me where I could get the most $ for mine. It's all marked 10 or 14 kt.

Email me at jmaagent@yahoo.com. I'm paying 20 to 30% more than anybody else, based on what several people have told me that they have been offered by others. I can give references to prove that.
Thanks.

I paid a lady $1,133.00 for her gold and the guy in London offered her $870.00. A man from Booneville was offered $6.00 per gram for 10K and at that time I gave he $9.00 per gram. The guy in London is NOT paying the best price. Get his price and come to me without telling me his price and I guarantee that my price will be higher.

He buys by the pennyweight - I buy by the gram. A pennyweight is 1.555 grams. The person he offered $6.00 asked him the gram price and he only had a small amount of gold. My price that day was $9.00 per gram or $13.99 per pennyweight.

His price per pennyweight was $9.33 compared to my price of $13.99. He may give a higher price for larger amounts. Like I said, get his price, come to me without telling me his price and I GUARANTEE my price will be higher. I do this part time and am willing to make a reasonable profit of 10 or 15%.

Whatever you think. I know that I have consistently paid more than he does. Like I said, have someone get his offer then get mine and see who offers the most. I have no interest in arguing with you. If you want to call, I'll give names that you can call.

who's arguing I'm just telling you what he paid me. I've already made plenty off of the man in London at that's who I prefer.

Get his price - then get mine. Mine will be higher but you can still sell it to him. Sounds like you prefer to do business in London and that is your right. I won't waste anymore time in responding to your posts.

Could someone tell me how I should weigh this in grams? Since I am an avid Ebayer, I only have scales that weigh in ounces! As you can tell, I am very new to this and I don't know much about it. I just really need to sell what I have and want to get a fair price for it.

Would it matter if a few things have gemstones/diamonds in it? Just curious...

Also, does anyone buy sterling silver this way?

Nikki- can you tell me the name of the place you're speaking of? I would like to call before I make the trip to London.

Thanks!

I would like to sell this ASAP, as I could use the extra $ for my vacation. I don't have an area code as to which to call you.

The guy in London buys silver too. He even buys old coins. I dont know how much he pays for old coins and the silver. He's located across from lowes sporting goods in the red brick building where there's an embordiery store also. theres a big painted sign in front of the store that says we buy/sell scrap jewelry.

I have 18K and 22K bangles. Anywhere from 11 grams to 24 grams. I got a quote from the London guy. What are you paying, say, for the 11 gram 18K gold bangle?
