Wasn't a new KY law passed last year provided you have a script for sched. I, II, & III meds; from u'r doctor and it's in proper container in u'r name, you can be charged with DUI under influence of drugs or PI other than alcohol when in a vehicle?? That law was hotly debated and opposed by KY physician community but i believe it passed. So if the officer ask's u... are u under phsician's care... watch wat u say.
The debate on this law centered around the elderly who drive. I don't anyone over 55 yrs. old who doesn't have a dose for some aliment.

he won't have a thing to worry about, if the PILLS were in a bottle with his name and his Doctor's name on the bottle. and he will get the money back if he can show check stubs showing he has a steady job. if he can't show any of the above, then he will spend some time with the others guys from clay county, than ran the city and county until the FBI put the squeeze on them. so if the guy was selling pills to make money, then off to the pokey he goes. and it may save some young person's life, that don't have enough sense to not do drugs.

For the people that have a MEDICAL ILLNESS ,and have to take meds. you know how it is to have to go somewhere, Including out of town, you have three choices, 1, take all of your meds with you, and take a chance of getting ROBBED and or KILLED. 2, take what you think you may need with you, and hope you dont get stopped by POLICE, or,,, oh yes ,3 ,JUST STAY HOME. Now which would you do?? And when you do go out of town do you go without cash on you? Besides, this MAN works, yes he has a J.O.B. with his illness. Is it REALLY going to get to where if you have more than 5.00 on you it is ILLEGAL ?? As for those of you that do not have a medical illnes, DO you have a J.O.B...?If you DON'T know the whole story please keep your opinions and or negative comments to yourself. Not everyone in Clay County is a druggie or a dealer.I know alot of very friendly people in Clay County that are not now nor have ever been into drugs. But, there are alot of people there and elsewhere that have to make the decision every day of their lives...WHAT AM I GOING TO DO ABOUT MY MEDS? Believe me, ITS NOT A FUN CHOICE TO HAVE TO MAKE! HOW would you handle that choice if it were YOU?
hate to tell you this you are wasting your time trying to tell this bunch any thing like this. they alway convict anyone who has to take there meds. please tell us what happen in court.

Lets just say he had just sold a car or a tractor and was headed to the bank to make a deposit, should he had left his meds at home where everyone knows he has meds they want, take a risk of being broken into and have to go without his meds because the doctor can only write you so many a month. The amount he had on him is not out of the ordinary.
I can't stand drug dealers, and I do not believe this man is one. just saying....
Well Booo Hoooo Hoooo, lets just say i have a job that i have to leave my home everyday all day long, and I have valuables that a pill head can steal or trade for pills,,, what the hell, i cant take all my stuff with me.

an hell yes anybody that needs those strong azz pills needs to be at home or out with a driver,

lol well, lets see, he works, what he carries with him is his busness , thats funny, because ,, you see there is a mention of other meds, but, they are not street drugs,,, so lets write it up as a drug thingy,,, see.... it says under investagation,, means... theres more to it than you know or care to know, most of the cash was from his J.O.B. meaning it goes to his BOSS. The rest is his weeks pay from his J.O.B.{SHOULD I EXPLAIN WHAT A JOB IS?} or {BOSS}? Follow the story , all through the court, when they get to the med bottles, the med. records, and the scripts that havent been filled yet, then you will have the truth. People that have a illness live a very dangerous life, and very complicated, so please,, just look around and ask questions of the people that are ill. see what they tell you of their tremendous life.and how safe it is for them to go out somewhere with their meds on their person.
Most of these people eat up every word a cop says, you are trying to talk sense into a bunch of azzkissers, forget it,can't be done.

<quoted text> you are a JACK AZZ!!!! its obvious you dont have to take any kind of daily meds, be THANKFUL!!! but there are people in this world that does have to take daily meds, some 2 times a day some 3 times a day some 4 times a day some as many as 6 to 8 times a day, when you are WORKING, OR HAVE TO GO TOP GROCERY STORE, OR SOME ONE DIES OUT OF STATE, what are you going to do??????? stay home because you have to take meds??? JACK AZZZZZ!!! i know its hard , but please try to put yourself in others shoes. carrying a bag of meds around with you is a sure fire way to be to be singled out by a drug theif!
Soooo R U trying to say that the reason his pills in the bottle didnt match what of should been there, is because he left the rest at home for fear of drug thieves?????

....THEN what the hells up with having no fear of carrying the cash...CASH will get you singled about by drug thieves and every single kind of thief....
