It may be good for minor ailments!
I have been there two times within the last year.
I had the exact same test at both:
Blood lab work at Manchester cost $750.
Blood lab work at London/Marymount cost $148.
Heart Echo Gram at Manchester, one other person being trained during my test - they lost the results and still charged for it - who did they give it to??
Re-took the test at Marymount - everything was professional and they gave results to my doctor.
I really dont know why youre worried about a bill. youre just like 85% of clay county and get a medical card, food stamps and SSI.

I took my child to Memorial ER with a bee sting . They let him sit there for and hour and ten minutes without even triaging the child. He was sitting in front of the receptionist the whole time and she wouldn't sign him in until he was triaged.

My baby's face kept swelling and she could have cared less.

As soon as the doctors offices opened back up after lunch I rushed him to our family doctor across the street. She called and asked the Hospital if the E.R. had shut down. She had a child whose throat was swelling together from an allergic reaction.

How can anyone say that the hospital is wonderful is beyond me. I'd like to know what kind of care they are supposed to be so good at dishing out, because I have not seen it.

I am so sorry this happened to you. The ER is a busy place and it's impossible to predict how long you might have to wait depending on how many and how critical the patients being seen are. I just want you to know that I'm sorry you had a bad experience and I hope that you will not let this one visit turn you against our hospital because there are nurses and doctors here that care about the health and well being of your child... and you.

For the record, it was Dr. Anand's office that could not locate the results from the hospital!

there is no comparison between "St Joe London" and Manchester. I work at St Joe London and we get all the stuff that Manchester can't handle. And trust me, most of the time when we get them they are about dead from Manchester's care. I think Manchester sucks...too many bad experiences with my family members. Is that coincidence or just that they don't know what they are doing?
WHAT EVER YOUR A DUMB ASS NOWWHY WOULD HEY SEND SERIOUS PATIENTS TO MURDERMOUNT WHEN THEY HAVE LEXINGTONI WOULDN'T SEND MY DOG TO LONDON THE NURSES THERE ARE THE WORSE SMART ASSES I'VE EVER DELT WITH THEY ARE RUDE PRUDE AN IN A BAD MOOD

ER can be slow. When I was seen there it took a while to get through ER but I understand because they had a lot of patients coming through but when I was admitted on 2nd floor I was treated very well and the nurses were great and I felt like they really cared about me and took good care of me.

There are process and procedures that have to be completed when patients are seen in the emergency department. If you have lab work or xrays then the wait can be at least 1 hour or longer. Unless you are part of the process how can you judge it? Your posting is rude and offensive. I guess that is what you meant for it to be.

mmh is a good hospital. my grandma was in mmh for several weeks at a time she also was sent to lexington not marymount for more complicated procedures. the care she recieved at mmh,in he own words were great. she said at mmh they took so much better care of her than lexington. she said out of all the hospitals she's been in her life mmh and the old redbird hosp was the best. Also the most friendly people. sometimes you half to wait a while to be seen but if your really really sick you don't mind usually,as long as you get the help you need.

i see it as though they can come out and explain whats going on.they are really slow and if you dont call an ambulace to come and get you,u will be there all night or day no mattr what is wrong with you. they think all ppl are drug heads. and they shouldnt think that.if u are sick then you are sick and should be seen by a doctor,

Have you ever thought that maybe one of the reasons it takes so long is because of people like you that call an ambulance to take you to the hospital when you don't need an ambulance. I went to the ER the other day and I was in and out in about 2 hours. I think the staff was excellent. And no, not all people come the the ER wanting drugs, but alot do. If someone comes to the ER and they are truly sick, they are seen as quickly as possible. But if someone comes to the ER every week complaining of toothache, back pain, abdominal pain, etc, then it is pretty easy to tell what they are there for.
