Richie hasn't gone yet but what I've heard he will be incarcerated in Federal Prison (Nobody Knows Where Yet) the next available opening on Wed March 19, and that is what I've been told but not his hometown. It's a shame they couldn't wait until the KY High School Basketball State Tournament where he is a LEGEND is over so he could watch his son at least play in the first round of the Greatest Show On Earth (Not the Clay Co. Elementary Tournament that we've always been led to believe) and more if his team wins. Trey like his father has a great chance of becoming a high school basketball star himself and on to a major college like a few of his team mates !! Are you watching Coach Cal ?

Why is it a shame? The average Joe would be behind bars and not give special treatment. Unfortunate for his son but his dad broke the law and must pay back his debt to society. Many kids don't have their parents at milestones due to bad decisions. Farmer is no Different.

He did wrong and we'll pay but so has every other person in Frankfort before him.. The ones there now are doing the same as he did or even worse. What he did is the least of our worries.. Most of the deadbeats on disability and drawing a checkmate stealing more from the taxpayers than he ever did..

He got off easy. The thieving bastard should have gotten more time.

Well, isn't THAT special? Poor Richie doesn't want to 'pay his debt to society' as ordered and thinks he should instead get to watch a BASKETBALL GAME? Maybe he should have thought of his son instead of trying to get over on the people of KY when he was in office?

Whoever this judge is, that's giving this piece of crap special privileges needs to be removed. Sure he was spending all this time with his kid after he split from his wife? Just playing the sympathy card as caring father, right. I'm amazed that the coach hasn't been told to stay away from poor Richie, think that working for the prison would be a no-no!

He's not getting special treatment. He's not considered a flight risk so he starts serving his time on date predetermined by the court. He'll miss the state tournament. So what? I'm sure many dads have kids playing sports and they don't get out. So far, Farmer has been treated just like any other minimum security inmate. But if he wants to go to a ballgame while he's out, he has no special restrictions beyond a certain radius of travel which is generous.

yeah he sure isn't no different. Shouldn't get no special treatment, if he was working like he should of been instead of misusing his title he could of seen his son play in the torment. I don't feel one bit sorry for him boo hoo cry me a river. Boohoo.

Sunny you ignorant asshole.... He's going to a camp, he'll never have a set of handcuffs on, he'll be in a place where he could walk off anytime he wants, everyone there will be folks who are not a flight risk nor dangerous, he'll be safer there than he is around Manchester. He will not ever be put in contact with dangerous people, even if he were, I promise they'll understand him wanting to watch his kid play basketball. I believe most criminals understand respect and loving ones family, hell most of them are locked up trying to protect their family or because they were trying to provide for their family.

Oh, he was protecting or providing for his family? Funny thing, cause I thought he was a thieving crook who lived it up on the KY taxpayers dollar, the nicest of everything and some strange flitter on the side. Where did his fit in all that? He's a joke!
