The splash park opened Friday. Pool will not be open this year. All the money made at the pool was wasted by the mayor.

Thanks Jerry & City..that's a crying shame to hear that..they might as well close the camp ground as well..ppl that lives in CC is willing to spend there money here where it should be spent (in there home place)but I guess not...so that's why London & the rest of the countys are blooming bc we have to go out of CC to have any type of fun...They talk the talk but can't walk the walk..Thanks guys.

i grew up in cc it had more things to do back then i moved away around 2004 i couldnt take it anymore not alot of jobs to make ends meet and me and my family desided the best thing for us was to pack up and move there is a list of things the county has shut down over time the skate rink i remember that was a fun place to go when i was younger it was awesome and a hot spot great times also the movie theater back in the day was a big thing alot of people went too and now they have shut the pool down it seems as if they are planing to take away everything for people to do around there i still have alot of family who live there and suffer it out it's a shame that the great people has to travel to the next county to find some entertainment but the truth is the people in charge only care about lineing their pockets not about the people thats another reason i moved away they talk about drugs being bad well if people had things to do there they wouldnt be on them i'm sure

Maybe you could move back now and start a business, pay some taxes, help make things better here.
