Just cause you tack "Billions" of years on it... it's still a Faith based system
Evolution has been observed in natural and in labs. It ties together all of biology.

It doesn't make any sense. It's the explanation made by primitive peoples who knew little of the world.

There is no Second Coming. That is a Christian invention to explain why Jesus failed the Messianic Prophecies.

A theory is unproven. In the case of Evolution they are not even close to proving. It is more a cultic belief system.
Scientific Theories are NEVER proven. They serve a different purpose than Laws.

What a weak excuse.

Your god's actions do not make any sense, therefore...we just can't understand them? Isn't it your god's intention that everyone understand his nature and will?

Hi guys, I'm God. I'm going to try to be really clear about who I am and what I want...but I'm going to be totally confusing and contradictory! Haha, now everyone argue about it and fight and kill each other!

Evolution has reached the stage of being a theory. That's way beyond the stage of conjecture.

There is no other scientific theory to account for how why species evolve.

You're going to have to bring some evidence if you want us to consider your alternative. Unfortunately for you, there is no evidence to support species being poofed into existence by magic.

Here's a fact: 150 years ago there were no rabbits in Australia. Then twelve wild rabbits from Britain were released into the Australian wild. Since that date, the Australian rabbits have evolved to the stage where there are now four different species of rabbit in Australia.

You see, evolutionists don't have faith - they don't need it because they have evidence.

Evolutionary theory provides the best current explanation for the diversity of life - and it does so without the need for magic and superstition.

Evolution also explains that the Bible god didn't create "all things bright and beautiful".

You are as guilty as satan!
Repent.... Get to know God... You will be glad you did!
How many millions of babies has your god killed?

Yet you support him.

The Ten Commandments?

"Honour thy father and mother"

That was one of your ten, wasn't it?

What if you father is Josef Fritzl? I'm sure you remember him.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fritzl_case

Do you honestly believe that Fritzl's daughters should still honour that man? If you do then your sense of morality, is pretty degenerate.

If, however, you admit that it doesn't apply in this particular case (or many others!), then it's hardly an absolute rule.

Which makes a mockery of your Ten Commandments.

Then what was the point of that whole Jesus/sadomasochistic death on the cross thing?

I thought that was to get rid of sin?

Looks like it was a waste of time.

Unless, of course, you're a god who gets off on plotting and scheming to have your son tortured and killed.

Well, you weren't the first and you certainly won't be the last.
I see that idiot Harold Camping died after getting it wrong twice. A few years back some of his cult were on Topix going on about how the world was ending.
Well, the world's still here but they're not because they can't face up to the embarrassment that their beliefs were wrong.
Try and stick around or at least give us an email address so in 5-6 years time we can remind you of your failed prediction.

The word theory, in the context of science, does not imply uncertainty. It means "a coherent group of general propositions used as principles of explanation for a class of phenomena" (Barnhart 1948). In the case of the theory of evolution, the following are some of the phenomena involved. All are facts:
Life appeared on earth more than two billion years ago;
Life forms have changed and diversified over life's history;
Species are related via common descent from one or a few common ancestors;
Natural selection is a significant factor affecting how species change.
Many other facts are explained by the theory of evolution as well.
2. The theory of evolution has proved itself in practice. It has useful applications in epidemiology, pest control, drug discovery, and other areas (Bull and Wichman 2001; Eisen and Wu 2002; Searls 2003).
3. Besides the theory, there is the fact of evolution, the observation that life has changed greatly over time. The fact of evolution was recognized even before Darwin's theory. The theory of evolution explains the fact.
4. If "only a theory" were a real objection, creationists would also be issuing disclaimers complaining about the theory of gravity, atomic theory, the germ theory of disease, and the theory of limits (on which calculus is based). The theory of evolution is no less valid than any of these. Even the theory of gravity still receives serious challenges (Milgrom 2002). Yet the phenomenon of gravity, like evolution, is still a fact.
5. Creationism is neither theory nor fact; it is, at best, only an opinion. Since it explains nothing, it is scientifically useless

Are there some "Christians" in these groups? Possibly!
First thing is to understand the Godhead...
If you do not have God, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit right (and many don't)
yer just barking up the wrong tree!
J C Ryle has a list of 6 doctrines for a true Christian.
So this Ryle guy is to be the judge of what a true Christian is? To bad your holy book could not articulate what a true Christian is.
I mean the creator of the universe puts out a book and it fails to mention what is a true Christian. How haphazard of him.
It has been the cause of a few holy wars, and a lot of division among family and friends. Not as if the god could have predicted such a predicament.

Yet for years, you have been claiming here that the end will come in a "few short years". Do you know the definition of "few" or "years"? Your prediction has already been proved wrong pal. Now you are backtracking like Harold.
