You know, too many people are killed over drugs or money owed them for drugs. This is got to stop. Drugs or drug money is not a reason to be killed. Noone deserves to die because of this epidemic with drug dealings.
People need to wake up and see what drugs have done to their lives and their families. Drugs are bad.

It's good that this "Casper" has taken effect : it sure tells doctors who are out doctor shopping for drugs. I can't believe that people are so dumb not to know about this.
My neice was just telling me yesterday that 4 people were arrested at the doctors office where she works for doctor shopping for drugs. Don't the users know that their name is on this list? Drugs gets a lot of people killed and I agree Jimmy Mills did not deserve to die. This situation could have been handled differently.

The supreme court of Kentucky, overturned the ruling of the clay county court against brock, tim, and boxhead.

This is what was said on 57 Mountain News

She says her husbands killers could be getting out of prison 18 years earlier than expected.

Two years ago, three men were convicted of murdering Jimmy Mills in Clay County in 2003. Now the Supreme Court says two brothers should have never been convicted and the third man's case is sent back to the Clay County Circuit Court.

Jimmy Mills body was found in 2003 wrapped in a tablecloth, covered in a garbage bag and dumped over the hill in Big Double Creek Park in Clay County. Evidence showed he was shot three times with a pistol at close range.

"I knew something was wrong because he was supposed to go to a meeting and he didn't show up to it," said Mills wife, Donna.

She visited his gravesite often, wondering what happened. It was two years before anyone was convicted for his murder. Eight people were charged in connection in someway with killing him in a trailer and dumping the body. Three men were finally convicted of his murder in 2005 on an accomplice principal meaning they couldn't prove who pulled the trigger. Now, two years after the conviction, the Supreme Court says there was more wrong with the case and unanimously have thrown out the murder conviction of brothers Tim and Shannon Finley and the conviction of Brock Bowling is sent back to the Clay County Circuit Court where he could get a new trial.

The Supreme Court cited several reasons for changing the decision made by a Clay County jury. It says the trial court did not give the jury the correct instructions for Tim and Shannon Finley or Brock B and says the Commonwealth's evidence did not prove that the brothers could be found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. The Supreme Court did however uphold the decision for Shannon Finley and Brock Bowlings' convictions for tampering with physical evidence. The court said the strongest case remained against Brock Bowling and reversed his murder conviction back to Clay County.

20 days to petition the Supreme Court for a rehearing has now come to an end and the attorney general says his office did not appeal it.

"Our attorneys looked at that and decided it would be fruitless to do that," said Attorney General Greg Stumbo.

We tried to contact Commonwealth Attorney Gary Gregory to see if his office would appeal the decision, but he did not return our calls. The Supreme Court says if it does not receive a petition by Thursday morning, the opinion will be finalized.

The department of corrections says it will wait on the Supreme Court to inform them on when the men can be released.

Here is a link to 57 news

I still don't think the Finleys will turn evidence on Brock.
They have no reason to.
There convictions were overturned on Tim and boxhead because there wasn't enough evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt. So why should they turn evidence against brock.
If they did, he could just as easy turn evidence aganist them.
I'm sorry if i sound negitive, but i'm just stating the facts.

You do not sound negative at all,,this just makes the case hopefully stronger against Brock,,we knew all along that shannon and Tim did not shoot Jimmy. They were in the kitchen,,,the sad part is someone did shoot Jimmy not once but three times. the sad part is Brock might get away and then again he may not, The truth will come out...and do you think that they are going to tell us if they (shannon and Tim) turned evidence. of course not because that would put them in danger.

nothing surprises me about that bunch of low life murders. I don't see how tim finley can look himself in the mirror everyday without seeing jimmy mills smiling face. oh yell, don't forget about the many twenty dollar bills that jim handed him to feed his family.

if i were brock i believe i would have just taken my 20 years and shut up, now that he's facing a new trial he may get the death penalty this time or 99 years, the strongest case was againist him and if tim and shannon are smart they will turn on him before he does them. it's funny life has a well of catching up with you and from what i've heard about shannon he'd be better off in prison than the life of meth and drugs he's living.
