Now, just tell me how the President would know about Daugh White? This is the most absurd thing on here yet. Daugh White is where he needs to be, and I hope he stays there as long as possible. This is a very evil man.

Singing Mama this is just a clevor ploy to keep people from concentrating on other people. This site has been worn out with things about Doug White.I believe that the people that are keeping this going are trying to keep people from talking about the crimes they are guilty of.I dont think Doug will get a pardon.Although he probally deserves one more than most that will get one.If you could find it in your heart I would ask you to pray for him and his family. As a person that knows them.I can say one thing this mess has put them on their knees.Sometimes God uses things like this to bring people close to him.

I would say a pardon is not the only thing doug has received since he's been in prison. As far as mercy i bet their a lot of familys right now grieving for their child that lost their lives in this mess. The mess he not only started but enjoyed until he went to jail. He even had enough balls to ask the judge to wait until after the holidays for him to start serving his time. Someday maybe he will have another christmas home and that's a lot more than you can say about some of these familys that will never have another christmas with their children at home. Because of him and people like jennings, todd, vernon, kenny and those that have'nt been caught yet. We will never forget and anytime ONE of these people get out of line or run for a public position again, it will be told through out the county to keep from letting this happen again. We never had a mayor, we had a little saddam with his gang of thugs. Everyone out there knows this is the truth. I have not one time saw anyone on here mention pray for those grieving familys that will never see their child again because of these slobs. If you want to pray for him and his family, do so. But i would strongly recommend they pray for themselves.

I totally afree with this. I am not a hard-hearted person, but I agree that his family needs to be on their knees, and ask the Clay County people to forgive them for their part in the whole mess. I can't believe that they were oblivious to all that Daugh was doing, and they reaped the harvest of all the money that was rolling in from bribes and kickbacks. Why hasn't Daugh written a letter to the editior of the local papers apologizing and asking forgiveness for the trouble he caused. The reason is because he thought he was entitled to everything, that's the way dictators think. The things that he plead guilty to are just a drop in the bucket of the things he actually did. I think if he survives to get out of prison, he should be indicted for statuatory rape. A 75 year old man with girls as young as 14 is sickening. It really irks me to hear people uphold this man.

Sorry, Tex, but you're wrong.

First, the only way to obtain a Presidential Pardon is to submit an application with the United States Department of Justice's Pardon Attorney's Office.

Second, to be eligible for Presidential Pardon, a person who is sentenced to prison must wait at least five years AFTER his or her release from confinement before making an application.

Third, a person seeking to have his or her sentence commuted can only apply for a commutation of sentence after they have exhausted all other remedies, unless the person can show that some exceptional circumstances exist.

Boy, did you hit the nail on the head there. I agree with you whole heartedly. He is not sorry for what he did and would do it again, given the chance.

With Clay County and the UNITE program declaring a war on drugs, why hasn't the name of the city hall been changed? It seems to me, that if Manchester wants to let people know that we will no longer tollerate drugs in this county, removing the name of an individual known for his connection with the drug community would be a good place to start.

I think this is the best thing on here I have heard in awhile. I think u are so right. There are a lot of people in this county that would have forgave him and prayed for him. Alot of us work hard for our money and to take our tax dollar and do what he did is wrong. I thing he should have used some of that money for a safe place for our kids to hang out and have a drug free enviroment. But I am with u saying that maybe some of us would have forgave him if only he would have written an appology letter. But it looks like he didn't care who he hurt or how he was just interested in himself. Even after he was caught all he thought about was how to get out of it.

All he ever thought about was himself. On rare occasions he would think about his family but seldom did he include his wife in that thought process.

youre all flat out lying about a pardon i have a friend that's very high up with the federal prison systems nationwide and they said this was impossible to happen because of the circumstance of everyone else that was involved with the same case in clay co.and forget about the pardon worry over who's next soon.

If I was guessing,he probally want get pardoned since Scooter Libby just received a commuted sentence. That guy was serving on the Presidents staff at the White House or something like that.So tell me what are Dougs chances.I can tell you one thing. If it were me or you or some of our loved ones in jail,we would want a pardon.Thats just the double standards we live by today. When its someone else we scream give us justice, but when its us we cry show us mercy. If you try to say thats not the way it is.I would say get real.
