Jescoe. This is just a way for him to hold on to his annexation plan.

They have to respond to anyone that has already paid their fire dues, or face law suits. Next year could be a different story. Think about this, If the people in the city limits don't pay fire dues, how will the FD survive without the extra money that people outside of the city limits pays.

First of all, the City Police do not leave the city as it is unless under extreme circumstances. So really there is no change there.

With the fire department, as CCproud said, they will have to respond since you paid fire dues OR they must refund you and give you a notice.

I personally think this is just a scare tactic that is being rumored by people who support this annexation. I would be shocked if it did happen, but then again, maybe I wouldn't...

if the city police dont leave the city then why the heck are they driving the police cars home and the tax payers are paying for the gas, they should have to drive to and from work in their own cars and trucks like the rest of us do.

Very Good Point Gilmore, I see them in all areas of the county. The Fire Chief drives his vehicle outside the city limits. Its out of hand, Maybe the Fire Department and City Police Department needs to keep it in the City.

The Mayor has told some city council members that he is sending out a fire dues refund to all that live outside the city limits. People, we have do something about this. We need to make our presence known Tuesday night at the city council meeting. I think impeachment proceedings need to start.

I agree, Saylor is out of control. He's allowing his own personal vendetta's to rule the city. If enough people stand up against his outrageous actions, he can be removed along with members of the city council. Get him out of there to improve your city.

I literally just got off the phone with a one of my city counc buddies. He told me there was some issues with the mayor doing this but he was signing an executive order at the next council meeting.

The Fire and Police Depts need to stay in the city limits anyways. We the citizens of Manchester pay taxes to have those services but yet they are run ragged on calls outside the city limits.

There is no city official other than the Mayor and the council that live in the city. The police chief. The fire chief. The city supervisor. Come in. Why not put people that live in the city in these positions. I am sure Claude Davis was qualified. I am sure Wes hacker was qualified. And I am sure Jamie Mills was qualified. Dinner weaver is qualified.
