Maybe they know more than the public knows, but, I have written to Boehner and to McConnell, and will advise them that all I have heard out here is that bombing or shooting off rockets to Syria is about the second most stupid thing the U.S. could do!! The first was all you that voted him into office!!!

Im sure they are eager to hear your advise.
Boehner is on board, as is Cantor. I assume McConnell is too since the senate committee just approved a resolution supporting the Presidents use of force in Syria.
Personally I am anti-war (or missile strikes) period (unless the US is under a direct threat) so I am not in favor of bombing.
That said the President is following policy that we as a nation have been following for years (WMD sound familiar?).
I assume you also thought the Iraq war a mistake?

So..... by your theory, the President who has been trying for weeks to start this war, is following some sort of policy, and is thus a hero, and the Rebublicans are the bad guy's for agreeing to support Obama on a war he want's to start? That defies logic, on any level. I gave you far to much credit!

I didnt say any of that. You're reading words that aren't there.
I simply said he was following established policy and the Republican leadership is on board.

In all honesty, there is no way anyone can convince me that one man is responsible for an economic success or failure. The POTUS must have support from The U.S. House and Senate...and the American people.
Look at Obama many of his proposals are blocked by the U.S. House because of pressure from the American public on their elected representatives.
Right or wrong they must listen and elections keep them accountable...do a degree.
if it's pressure from the public, why does congress have a 15% approval rating?

One more thing; if Obama is following established policy, what is it, and who formed it? If you imply it's Republican policy, would that make Obama a Republican, or not capable to create any policy of his own? Just to clear this up.

Obama denies his Syrian ‘red line’ comments

President Barack Obama repeatedly denied Wednesday that he ever set a “red line” against the use of chemical weapons in Syria, and he insisted that the “world community” and Congress created the so-called red line, and should enforce the line.

“I didn’t set a red line,” he insisted to reporters at a press conference in Sweden Wednesday morning.

Did you not bother to read my post? Isn't a fact that I clearly stated that I was NOT in favor of the bombing?
Why find argument with a simple statement of facts?
If a limited missile strike gets you this fired up I imagine you were fit to be tied at the Iraq invasion.
