Does any one know where a Suboxone clinic is that Well Care will pay for your doctor visit???

There isn't one. If WellCare is like Medicare, they are not suppose to pay for addiction programs. If it is private insurance, it has to be preappoved thru the insurance company prior to treatment!
And rightfully so. Your problem, you caused it, and now you pay for it out if your own pocket!

And if it was, I would not expect a free handout from the government for his/her problems! Nor would I expect the working class to carry my family from month to month.

Man/woman up. Get a job and take care of your OWN problems and mistakes and stop waited for others to do it for you. Again, it's YOUR problem, it's not mine or my families problems, YOURS! So take care of it out of your OWN pocket and not MINE!

Hello, Reporter. Someone asked a very simple question, no one asked for your smartass remark now did they? Heaven forbid if you ever have to battle with addiction, lose your job or see someone close to you die. And thank you reporter for payin so much in taxes, very smooth way to lay it on the line because I'd say you at least pay 99% of KY's taxes, right? How bout you post on a thread you may know something about, not something you don't agree with.

Maybe if you people quit selling your suboxone on the street it would be easier to get legally for those that really use it. Why isn't the police investigating things like this? No wonder there are so many overdoses in Clay and Laurel. The police are too busy patting themselves on the back cause they found 3 or 4 marijuana plants and plaster it all over the paper so they can get a reward, when there are 100's selling pills and meth and nothing being done about it. Interesting story to be done on the way these pill pipeline cases are not being investigated as thoroughly as other cases. Cant wait to see it on 20/20.

They are people who choose to sell/buy them on the streets. Suboxone keeps addicts form being sick so of course some addicts are buying them when they cannot find their drug of choice. However, for the few that choose to waste the gift of Suboxone and not do right with it, there are thousands for who it is a true gift and it has help them get on with a normal life. Also, for the record, the people who are overdosing, are not doing so on Suboxone alone. If they are dying, they are using much more dangerous combinations of drugs. Suboxone has a celling effect.

Suboxone is a dangerous drug. Many users of this drug do have adverse reactions to the drug, that's why with any first time user, the first dose is administrated in the doctors office. And given at a slower pace and smaller dosage. For instances, with the strips, 1/4 is given every 5 to 10 minutes, to watch and see if the patient will become sick. Also one of the most dangerous side effects with this drug is breathing difficulties. I have known of cases where the users passed away due to this very factor. This drug can very easily compromise your breathing!

What's wrong with this plan? To get drug addicts off drugs.....you give them more drugs. Try no drugs for addicts if they really want to quit they will if not, there's nothing you can give them or say to them that'll get them off drugs. It's choices they make....not a disease!
