Mitch McConnell has provided significant and important leadership in the U.S. Senate representing Kentucky citizens.

Do you think for one minute, or for one instance, that Kentucky would have any swagger, sway, or influence without Senator McConnell and his extensive experience in Congress.

I, myself, personally think it is quite pleasing and enjoyable to have both Senators (McConnell/Paul)from KY being so mentioned prominantly in national politics.

The liberal Democrats and the far-left Socialists will try to convince regular, everyday Kentuckians of their being worthy of a vote, NOT !!

Please don't be confused nor misled by their tactics and smooth talk.

Be sure to VOTE, McConnell and have your family and friends to do the same, Kentucky's future is at-risk if we do not hold fast, steady, strong, and hold the line against the liberal assault, socialist agenda.

You mean like removing food stamp funding from the Farm Bill and give large corporations Welfare, instead?

Kentucky NEEDS Alison Grimes.

Corncob is the typical democrat, say republican want to starve the children, old people or your dogs. Let see a few facts, under these democrats, gas prices highest ever been, electric bills going up, and as a retired on a fixed income person my medical cost raises ever month. Thank you democrats for caring so much about working people, you want to make us feel the love you have. It is sad when you have a political party who wants to keep people on foodstamps and ssi, wants to tax working people into poverty. This idiot corncob wants people to think just republicans have corporate friends. Under the democrats today large corporations got the stimulus, gas prices keep rising and the medical care prices have doubled, but low life sorry people that want work don't care they know democrats will keep them up on the backs of hardworking Americans. This corncob can say oh I work, but if he worked at a hard job he be angry as hell over how democrats are treating working people.

So you are okay with the Republicans shutting down the government and putting 800,000 people out of work? Corporate America and the Koch Brothers are all that the Republicans care about. If you think it is the average American you are sorely wrong.

Yeah, it is the Republicans who did this. They have spent a year trying to get to this point. Read this for proof.

I would have truly loved this shut down if they had stopped the ssi checks and food stamps for those who could not prove they are disabled. Hell cob what did it shut down just federal workers who worked at parks, hell let them privatize all the parks like they should the post office then they have extra money to waste on low life scums to sorry to work. All democrats care about is sorry people, abortions, gays and foreigners sneaking in here. Put that in your joint pipe cob and smoke it.

You are wrong about blaming republicans for this......Obama has been unwilling to negotiate...“He seems to be able to talk with the Iranian rulers, but not the congressional leaders,” Alexander said.“Our goal is fairness to the middle class, fairness for the taxpayer.… This stubbornness in the face of reasonableness will not be good for our country, will not be good for either political party, it will not help us to achieve the kind of result on this and other issues that the Founders intended by creating a system of checks and balances in our democratic form of government.”

Alexander said each of the proposals by House Republicans has sought to fund the government while being fair to the American people and negotiating under the constitutional system of checks and balances the Founders created. The proposals have included:

Being fair to the middle class by delaying the individual mandate requiring Americans to purchase health insurance. The president has already delayed at least seven major provisions of the law, Alexander said, including the employer mandate requiring businesses to provide employees with insurance or pay a penalty.
Being fair to taxpayers by repealing the tax on medical devices, which Alexander has said “is increasing the costs of life-saving medical devices for everyone and killing good jobs for Tennesseans.”
Treating the American people the same as Congress is treated.
Initiating conference negotiations between the House and Senate to discuss how to fund the government.
