Shards of glass, razor sharp and stained in crimson, glisten in the evening light from the cathedral's shattered windows. The Fallen Angel's last cry pierces the veil of Heaven & Hell as she falls to the ground.

What once was,is no more...

Wings stripped from flesh, a crown of glass affixed to skull, and the tip of the "Heart Seeker" thrust through her chest, Justikar releases the hilt of the blade. Descending to the ground, she grasps the blade with both hands, attempting to escape death's embrace. The shadows dance, taunting life's escape unto the abyss as the last breath retreats from the light and into darkness.

She is gone...

Guantlet soaked in blood, Justikar spies upon his sword one last time, but does not retrieve the "Heart Seeker." Forged from the blood of Angels and tempered in the cauldrons of Hell; the "Heart Seeker" is now one with both realms.

Looking beyond the horizon, Justikar takes a moment to reflect, as memories swell within his mind and a single tear escapes from the shadows of his heart. It is done...

The "Abyssal King" is coronated as promised by the Demon Lord Avarax. Justikar has fallen, but he is not dead muses the King. It was at that moment Avarax realizes the "Fallen Angel" was not the key to Justikar's destruction!

Deep within the labrinyth of shadows, Justikar smiles as a pin prick of light flashes before his eyes. Blood coursing through his veins, heat emanating from the light's beckoning call, Justikar begins his journey into the void.

Her name is Mikelle, the "Eternal Blade" of the Southern Kingdom. She is the only one who can release Justikar from Avarax's curse! His love for her no longer hidden from the shadows of despair, Justikar smiles for the first time in many years.

Go take a look out of the window.
On the other side is something called "the real world"

That honestly has nothing to do with what they wrote. If anything at least it was creative if they wrote it. Maybe they were looking for input for what they wrote.

"When memories begin to fade and the light becomes a little darker, so begins the journey of day's end." Orin, the sage of Korbin, with his eyes fixed upon a tome reads aloud to the young Order of Light. "It is memories, both good and bad, that reminds us of who we are, the choices made and those not taken. It is the legacy of our actions. We are not remembered for the actions not taken, but for those we embraced and chose to make."

Beyond the wastelands, the "City of Hope" rises high above the corpses and backs of a desolate people. The denizens of the night bleed the coffers with their false idols, as the politicians dine in their ivory towers. Death is a commodity for those who can afford the price, while those who toil in poverty are the hangman's acolytes.

Trudging through the murky underbelly of the city, a small boy searches for a meal. His hair is unkempt from neglect, and his clothing barely fits due to malnourishment. Deep rings of black envelop the boys eyes signaling the lack of a proper night's rest. As the boy rifles through discarded trash in search of food, a hand rests upon his shoulder.

As the boy turns, his gaze is met with a blinding light. A warm breeze lifts the boy from the ground, caressing his limbs while banishing the icy grips of winter from his shivering body. With eyes beginning to focus, the boy glimpses golden hues dancing from the columns of ivory columns that support massive Citadels. Dirt gives way to marble islands beneath the boy's feet. White, billowy clouds dance within the reflection of stone from the Heaven's canopy.

"You are home." a soft, sweet angelic voice greets the boy. Before he can ask, the voice responds, "I am Mikelle."

High above the mountains, Justikar embraces the southern breeze of Spring as he once did as a kid, memories not easily forgotten. With the words still etched into his mind from Master Orin, in the Knight's Quarter, "It is memories, both good and bad, that reminds us of who we are."

Magnus Sven, Lich King of the North, summons his mount from the abyss.

Death emanates from the putrid halls of the dead, as rats scavenge what little is left from the decaying flesh of the deceased. Worms, maggots, and other rodents weave their way in and out of crevaces they now call home in the hollowed cavities of the fallen.

"Death is the redeemer of souls." the Lich King caresses the mangled flesh of his steed as he contemplates the final moments of his victims."In life everyone wants more fame, beauty, riches, and whatever there is to take from the branches of life......but in the final moments as death approaches, they would willingly trade it all for one more breath."

....The Gods have abandoned the drunkard....the addict...the destitute....in their "eyes" there is only one redemption....Hope.

Chariots of Bone, harvested from men, women, and children of all ages, amass beneath the Obsidian tower of Sven's fortress. The "Death Knights" feed from the marrow left in the discarded bones not fit for service, as they await orders. In the haven of the dead, life has no quarters within this realm.
