It's illegal in my country anyway (United Kingdom) to take any sort of photo of anyone in the classroom unless the parents of the child/children give consent to people taking pictures of the child(ren). I have no idea how it works in the States!

I completely agree; I would be absolutely livid knowing that a teacher had posted pictures of my child on the internet without my knowledge or consent. I am sorry and frankly disappointed that some of you "parents" are so ignorant as to whom all can access and view these pictures of your children on Facebook. You don't know who all has access to these!(Id say a parenting 101 crash course is much advised)

You people are so stupid, I wouldn't care if my childs pic was on FB. I have them on my profile and I'm sure you do too. You can make anything good into a bad thing...wish I had that much time, but glad I'm not that miserable. Get A LIFE!!!
You sound ignorant. Not all parents post pix of their children. What about custody battles or children in foster care who arent supposed to be found by a strung out parent. Think before you speak.

When I did student teaching, I was told if you took pictures of students take it with their backs facing the cameras. They didn't want their faces in the pictures if they were posted anywhere because of perverts.
