I was on Facebook and notice a teacher is posting pictures of the kids in her class. This can't be allowed by the school board. I know a media release does not mean Facebook.

I assume you all are probably talking about Mrs. Robinson, she is a very good teachers, who thinks enough of her students to take pictures of them and post them for her friends to see her wonderful students holding their class projects. No matter what anyone does someone with nothing better to do than be a pessimist has to ruin things for others. I would bet you don't have a job and sit on your butt snooping on facebook all day. You probably have couch sore on your behind your so lazy, otherwise those pictures of those kids wouldn't have crossed your mind. I bet you set around dreaming of a lawsuit and think you are on to something, well guess what think again there is nothing illegal about it.

There are a lot of teachers that are proud of their students and take pictures of their accomplishments in the classroom. Tateville when you see a child smiling holding up something they worked hard on and getting recognized for a job well done I guess that must makes you boiling mad...because it sounds like to me nobody in life told you GOOD JOB that is why you have to look at the negative things in your life to make up for your miserable life you have!!! Clay Count Teachers keep up the good work and don't let small-minded people get you down..

At least maybe this teacher has nothing to hide..I had a teacher call me once and I thought it was a joke ...I had to try real hard to keep from laughing myself ...She called me and stated that she was upset because my son said he saw her picture on the internet.. I did verify this was all he said. Maybe she had something to hide..but I really thought it was hilarious myself that she took it so serious.. and know how my son loves to joke and kid with people. I told him not to do it anymore and some people had no sense of humor. He truly was joking and didn't realize he struck a nerve. I really think if you are going to be a role model for children that you should display it at all times not just during school hours.

I think before you post pictures of someones child you should get permission from the parent. No matter who you are.I dont know the teacher but they should have known better.

Well if it is such a concern to some of you then why don't you put forth the effort to sit down and write a note to the teacher and request that your child's photo not be displayed in a public manner, is that so hard? I am sure the teacher would be more than glad not to display your child's picture, if that is what you wish. I for one love to see pictures of my child on their teachers facebook album, because it gives me a little insight and what is going on in the classroom. For a teacher to make such a effort to take pictures and place them in her album says a lot about that teacher: It says that the said teacher is obviously very proud of her students and is displaying her pride in them when she posts in her album. Seriously though, if it is such a problem then why don't you actually go to the school or send a note and request for child's photo to not be taken and save a lot of grief. I am pretty sure I know who you are talking about after seeing this topic. You are a friend of hers on facebook and then turn around and try to bash her on topix, which by the way is very childish and cowardly on your part ABC. If it offends you so much then simply hit the delete button on her profile and then you won't have to see something that normal parents enjoying seeing.

I THINK YOU ARE STUPID! Schools don't have to get permission to put a picture in a year book or in the newspaper so what is the difference. You are just jealous because you don't go the extra mile for children. That took time for her to squeeze in taking the pictures then time to put them in her album.

I'm sure that the only people that are viewing these photos are her FRIENDS that she willingly accepted on her facebook! She's not crazy and she doesn't accept just anybody as her friend on there! what is wrong with you people? I know who you are talking about and she is a wonderful teacher..my son had her in school and he loved her she is an awesome teacher who truly cares for all her students!! Leave her alone she is an excellent teacher and I bet if u ask any of her students they will tell you that they love her :)
Well

Well I guess the Board of Education is stupid because anybody doing Obeservation in a classroom and they have to video it they make them get permission slips signed by parents saying it ok for them to video their child.
