I have worked since I was 16 years old and am now 52. I have paid my share of taxes and if paying those taxes means that I can help feed a kid, that might otherwise go hungry, I will gladly pay them. I don't understand why people are so hate filled. I was raised to help people that are down on their luck. I don't know Krystle except for what is on here but if she has a kid and doesn't work to provide for him shouldn't we as a community step up and try to help him? or should we just take everything away from Krystle that could help him? Lets take away her food stamps so that he will go hungry. Take away her ability to go to school so that they will never get any better than they are now. Take away her housing so that he doesn't have a roof over his head. I just don't understand the thinking of some people. We will always have to pay taxes and I for one am grateful that I can pay my share to help others that haven't been as fortunate as I and my family have been.
Like my name implies, this is just my 2 cents on the matter.
Good for you! You take hem to raise. I rather not. I am tired of paying for sorry butt's and their sorry families. You have generation after generation check drawer. I don't want to pay for their gas, cigarettes, pop, or anything else. Let her get a job along with everyone else. No one paid my college bill, mortgage, child care, or anything else. I damn sure don't want to pay for anyone else, who chides not to work! As far as helping these cold miners who lost their jobs due to things out of their control. I don't mind a bit. But don't ever ask me to take care of someone wanting a free ride. It boils my blood to see the first of the month come and the ATMs that you can't get to because of these sorry people. Let them pick up pop cans or garbage along side the road. Than they can learn their keep!

As I said before I don't know Krystle or anyone living in the Beech Creek Apts. I just chimed in with nothing but my opinion. It could be about anyone and I would feel the same. I have empathy for anyone that is having a hard time and it is usually the kids that get hurt. Taking a child away from the mother hurts the kid too. The only way that there will be a change is if people tried to help instead of getting on an anonymous site and puts someone down instead of giving a helping hand. I never said that my way is perfect but I know that by trying to help people in need I can sleep very well at night. I believe in Karma and what I can put out into the world good or bad will most likely come back to me so I choose to try to do good and so far it is working for me.

you try to help but usually the parent will abuse the system and the child goes hungry. they sell a bunch of cartons of pop or groceries off the ebt card if they do that you know they aint gonna fork over a few $ to buy that kid something to eat.

To the one comment yes I was raised to help others but what about helping them big strong young people that you name a job to this their answer. If I go to work I will have to pay rent and lose my foodstamps I can't work. That place is way out of hand and it is goning to take someone besides Greta to clean it up she sure is not goning to. Some of the apartments are so nasty you can smell them before you get to them. The Gov. needs to go in there and do alot of apt. cleaning. It is such A shame how people dont care how they live. There are some I would not rent anything to. I cant wait till Greta get out of there and someone goes in and cleans it up and show them people who is boss.

honey you sound like a nice person, but there is something you forgot, this is clay co. the people here are not down on their luck they are just down from their drugs. most of the young mothers around here use their child to get assistance from the government. alot of the kids will be doing without because the mommy sold their stamps or spent all their check on sometype of drugs. im not trying to be mean but this is just the way the so called women of clay county is and was raised.we need to help the children i agree, but its not helping the children by giving the mothers and fathers money to buy their drugs with. we need to find a way to help them and this is not the way...and i have to say i have saw children that will break your heart..
