I think your players have to be coachable....the last play of game was not a very good play at all...you can pratice, put your team on the floor, but you cannot play for them.....

the two 3 pointers would guarded correctly meant clay co.would have won by 2 without going into overtime.

Really??? So you are saying that the two 3's is what beat Clay. I guess it had nothing to do with the other 48 points they had. Many of which where almost uncontested at the basket when we started chasing them around 30 feet from the basket. Nor did it have anything to do with the numerous turnovers that we had by dribbling too much against the press. Also had nothing to do with not blocking out and giving them offensive rebounds.
I don't know how many games you have watched in your life, but two 3's is not many in todays game.

If North had hit even half their foul shots in the last quarter they would have won by at least 3 or 4 in regulation. Lytlle looked lost and Word played well and Mcdaniels looked shaky like a couple others, they just weren't on their game, if they were we would have easily won like the 1st 2 meetings IMHO.

I know what beat Clay county, North scored more points than us, we could not buy a shot, came down the floor and thru up a quick shot and North got the rebound came up and scored. North wanted the win more that we did. I wish them well in the sweet 16

Clay County is just an average job now. I hate to see our program be the way it is, but we cant even get a good experienced coach that has a proven track record. And yes, I agree with the guy earlier, grade school coaches cant win big games!

The High school basketball program will never again be any good until the coaching staff at the middle school is changed. And that my friends sums it up.

Also does it not irk anyone but me that the majority of our High School staff is made up of people who work outside the board of education. As far as I'm concerned the coaching staffs need to be employees of the Board.

Also why are we letting kids in the Middle school move up and play for the high school in baseball, thats a joke. They need to be playing on the middle school team against players their own age. Baseball is done now too, I hope you guys enjoyed the ride.

I agree lets fire all of them and hire from the school system. We would have James Gray, Mark Jackson, Scott Reed and most of all Jerry Combs as the head man. Boy that would be good and lets toss in Jermey Sizemore.

They probably should give the football job to Scott Reid or at least get him to help.

I dont beleive you can get these guys, because the board does not want to upgrade the coaching staff right now.

And you are right Kelly! I know of multiple people coaches that are around southeast ky, with high school experience that Marcum wouldn't hire, because no one in the county knew them. Win the region? Or lets keep playing politics and hiring coaches that everyone knows?
