The sad thing is that these pieces of chyte keep making babies knowing they are not gonna to be able to raise and educate them unless they can take from other families. You nastyarse scumbags that do this should be locked up and fed bread and water if someone else has to pay for raising your children. If your child suffers its your fault, no one else.

Exxxactly. The government can't cut jack shit out of your own money that you spend to take care of your own child. If you have them then pay for them, and don't expect other working families to have even a little less to eat so that yours can have more.

Obviously, I was reading a different article than the above posters. In many cases the parents are employed or in school or both. They are trying to make a better life for their children, NOT abuse the system.

“Families who were working and want to work are being forced back onto entitlement programs. It will cost much more in the long run for good people to receive these forms of public assistance versus the state allowing such families support for continued and needed child care.”

I have said it all along; the child care cuts are doing nothing but pushing people into the welfare line instead of being able to work and flourish until they no longer need that assistance. Child Care assistance is NOT a case of "deadbeats" or "pieces of chyte" just wanting to sit around all day. It is only given to those who meet specified (now lowered) income guidlines and are working or in school more than 20 hours weekly.

Before you judge, do your research. Better yet, it would serve you well to remember judgement is not your job!

The problem is you should be responsible enough to be monetarily able to care for a child before you have a child. To have a child when you are unable to care for it is irresponsible to say the least.

Why would people in Manchester worry about child care??? Really??? Because the MAJORITY don't work only the minority does! And we already have reliable sources who watch our children or we pay for it out of pocket! Like everyone else should have to! Stop looking for free handouts on everything in this messed up county! You as the parent look for honest, reliable people/places to watch your child! You do references you research the person or place! I mean really! Always standing at the side with your hands out! Just like when school starts, yelling for someone to buy school supplies and clothes! Your kind gets free stuff of types and you still want! Even the state pays for child care for your undeserving, lazy butts! Are they threaten to take that away?? Well to freaking bad! Tax payers pay the following for you and all those like you in this forgotten county,
Free Medical, Free prescriptions, Free/Reduced housing, heating/electrical assistance, Free/Reduced child care, Free money thru welfare, SSI, Social Security, AFDC, Wic, FoodStamps, etc....No counting everything else your given thru the state! And tax payers receive NOTHING!
And your afraid you might have to start paying or providing child care to your own child/children! OMG! How could they????
Sorry trash! And people of your kind wonder why people talk about people like you! Take care of your own responsibilities and stop depending in everyone else to do it!

Oh, wow really well said. you got your eyes and mind open. I had a problem with that story and it's always the children they use as a shield.
You can now find good homeschooling tools to teach your children those days that actually teach the Constitution. That Common Core crap is not what you should want for your children.

Somebody should be those who look you in the eye and realize you are worth helping; not some government program that is designed only to keep you under control.

If you can't afford them don't have them! It's not my responsibility or any other tax payers to pay for what you can't afford!

I guess no such thing as by accident. Of course you could be implying they need to have an abortion.

How is it considered an accident when everyone knows having sex without protection can cause pregnancy?

I can't stand women who intentionally get pregnant knowing that they can't afford to raise their child or children without government assistance, but there are a lot of people who get married and have a great job before they get pregnant, then afterwards, unexpected negative circumstances arise, such as the death of a spouse, a divorce, a serious health problem, an accident that causes tremendous injury, or a layoff, and any of those things can change the situation drastically, especially financially. Those people don't belong in the same category as a moocher on welfare who has children for government benefits, wants to drain the system dry, and won't even try to work or go to school.
