They're all four just about tied in my mind. Very hard to choose.

The Rolling Stones - no question. Beatles and then Led Zeppelin. Only one on that list worth talking about is Aerosmith.

where are the "DOORS" on that list??

This has to be one of the most pathetic lists I've seen put together. No Zep, no Beatles, no Stones, no Floyd, not a whole lot of anything. And personally I don't think Kiss even belongs on the list.

Also not to mention that Guns N' Roses aren't even worthy of being with the others on that list.

well if it's off the list then i have to pick ac/dc. but there are so many more that aren't up there

When it comes to setting the stage and shaping the sound of hard rock, i have to say AC/DC.

rose's could have been as good as the stones if the would have stuck together

Its pointless to post something like this in an ac/dc forum. The majority is obviously going to choose AC/DC.

Led Zeppelin is one of the greatest bands with a few very strong and legendary songs, no doubt here, but ... much of them is STOLEN! Some of people talking about J. Page, that he is better guitarist of many, also of Angus. But DC had better frontmen becouse Bon Scott is/was MORE UNIQUE then R. Plant! Besides, WHOLE album Back in Black is HARD ROCK PERFECTION and Zep never had some equally. I can-t give finally estimation about live performances, becouse I never saw zep alive, but I saw AC/DC, and also here I presume, that is AC/DC better. AC/DC were better then Zep in years 74-82 and 90-91 and is better also TODAY. Amen!

I forgot to mention J. Bonham (R.I.P.) wich was, true, one of the best drummers. Enyway, I hope that this my opinion will not to do some of zep fans too much angry :)

In the following order:
Pink Floyd, The Who, Led Zep, The Doors.

This is all a well known story. So let's stop re-inventing the wheel.
