someone needs to update that film and let everyone know we are working on the drug problem here by substituting alcohol for the new addiction, tell about new businesses that shut down, the recycling center that was a flop, how on the first of the month you have to wait for hours to use the atm, how mcdonalds takes 15 minutes or more to get from the order place to the window, tell about how our politicians really use their office, lets go plant a flower in town.

I watched this film, it was very inspiring. How did a town get this bad, what was the history, and why did people have to unite at the end? This is not anything that is spectacular than any other town, so bad publicity get over it, a few corrupt politicians, I am from Illinois. Illinois is as bad as it gets in corruption, so that was not the selling point.

The selling point was that the church leaders came out from their 4 walls of isolation, and repented for not allowing God the freedom to move in peoples lives. That was the selling point. The question as to why not the report of the many youths coming to the Lord, what caused these youths to come to the Lord in the first place? Because it wasn't anything that the churches were doing that attracted them. The youth want answers, just like everyone else. When drugs and alcohol are dominate than God loses out, many times. I feel like this was inspirational, not negative. We have drugs, alcohol, the sex, the violence, like I said before the corruption, but this film gave the answer, something that most churches don't get. The film is about this nation's answer to depravity.

Outsiders have no clue concerning the real impetus behind this cause and the propaganda video that resulted. Your ill informed opinions have no basis in fact.

I live in a county in TN. that actually has this same history. It is a cancer in our society, the drugs, the corruption, the amount of people on welfare is staggering! Even if you are a citizen in the town that the film was made, and don't like the film for what ever reason, I would think that any intervention from God would be appreciated. Sure the same problems exists elsewhere, but lets not get to the point of rolling over and watching a generation die without hope. If you read the Bible you can follow in the old testament, read about what happened to the Israelites when they had a generation that forgot about who God is! Its ugly! We must have Gods intervention, or else we too will just be without HOPE!

If they did and told the whole story unlike the 1st time when they just used bits and pieces here and there the sequel would be really sad and ugly but I wish they would to and show the rest of the country very little changed then and is even worse now.

It's mind numbing the way people just turn over their future to just anybody ! I've lived in cc for 51 yrs and I will not let anyone but me dictate my or my families future! I've made a good living and my family has all they need to live a comfortable life! So there's no excuse for anyone not improving their quality of life in this county other than not wanting to!!!
