I was about to start a thread on the Salina page and post the question
"Does anyone remember Mar's Chinese Restaurant?"

It warms my heart that you fine folks DO remember.

It's a shame Walgreens came in and swooped up the property.

Bill is still very much alive and well and going fishing all the time!

I went to that newer Buffet the last time I was in town and was very disappointed.
It was very bland with no flavor whatsoever.
I still have one of those big huge Gold Mar's Menu's!
(SIGH) Now I'm sad.

They sold the recipe to Banquet Frozen Foods. You can find it in their Sweet and Sour Pork TV dinner.
